  1. The iron is getting sharper.
  2. Here’s where big boys take care of business.
  3. We will win the 4th, but by how much?
  4. That was a close one. He may have lost the ball before crossing the line.
  5. We don’t need to win big, just the win.
  6. A two deep safety zone scheme leaves the hashes open. We are sacrificing completions for big plays, but the red zone play is not quite there.
  7. AB is a game manager, but not a gamer.
  8. Just a little iron sharpening.
  9. That pass to Dye was a dead Duck waiting to happen. AB doesn’t see the defenders well. Oh well.
  10. TD Dye, with a major assist by AB on that drive.
  11. As much as I should want the Beavs to lose, I am enjoying seeing the water rats cut down the Cardinals of Stanford. Stanford without their starting quarterback is struggling to score. But the Beavs offense looks solid. Coach Smith is going to give us a game in a couple weeks.
  12. Dior is a great get for Altman and the program. He appears to possess the type of talent that can help a team of shooters and bigs get good looks at the basket on a regular basis. That said, the difference between high school and college athleticism on defense is significant. It can take time for a young man to develop into an NBA player, and there are no guarantees that one year will be enough to get prepared to play against the best in the world. And there are sometimes bumps on the road to getting ready for the NBA. N’Faly is a great example. Getting NBA caliber talent to come to Oregon is a major win, and may put Altman in position for a run at a second National championship for the Ducks.
  13. Ducks 33 - 20, 3, 3, 133
  14. To be fair about the lack of a shake, the Beav coach didn’t offer a puppy treat, and the Dawg coach had dirty balls to care for.
  15. Thanks for sharing this Charles. It’s hard to predict college football game scores, much less outcomes. Based on their track record, the authors are no better than flipping a coin. So here goes, heads the Ducks win, tails the Ducks lose. Heads! Now for the spread. Tails! WSU keeps it within two scores. I can live with it.
  16. No doubt the Cougs won’t Rolo over, but they’ll get KT and NS shots Saturday night.
  17. LaMichael may have been the toughest Duck RB ever. Setting his own dislocated elbow on the field and playing a couple weeks later was epic.
  18. Sounds like Coach DeRuyter understands the Coug offense well enough to have a defensive game plan. I doubt that he gave the plan away in the interview. I suspect the Ducks D will be fine on Saturday. I hope the O shows up.
  19. Best fan year ever if we beat OSU teams three times in a year. But I will be happy with beating the Cougs this week to assure my tickets to the PAC12 championship game will be to watch my Ducks!
  20. The first half shooting slump was tough to watch, but otherwise that was an impressive performance against a seasoned and talented team. The Duck defense looked solid in the first half, and the overall flow improved in the second half. Our bigs look like they will contribute once they get used to the flow required in Altman’s schemes.
  21. Is it true love, or are we being catfished?
