Post-Game Thread: How 'Bout Our DUCKS?
One of the best regular season wins in Oregon football history. That said, what was the deal with the targeting no call? If that wasn’t targeting, what is? I’m thankful no one got hurt.

He Nailed the Precise Score! OBD Prediction Contest Winner for the Notre Dame vs. Indiana Game Was...
The weather conditions will definitely hamper both offenses. ND’s home field advantage makes a difference. Notre Dame 24 - 21 3 TO 3 Sacks Below 200 yards passing

It's Set, Oregon Plays the Winner of Tennessee at Ohio State and SMU Gets in!
Clearly, the way teams were seeded for this over emphasized the conference championship games. The best 4 teams are Oregon, Georgia, Ohio State, and Texas. We need a system that seeds teams the way it’s done in basketball. That said, it’s good to have a coach like Lanning who, instead of complaining, looks at his lot as an opportunity.

NBC Broadcasters: "Welcome to the B1G?"
It sounds like quite the theory, but I don’t believe Lanning would purposely put a 12th man in on defense. He would trust the eleven guys that should be out there to make the play.

Will Jordan Burch be Ready to Play in the B1G Game?
Burch is listed as questionable on the injury report so we probably won’t see him playing today.

Herbert Questionable For Game Against Steelers Tomorrow
Seeing Herbert in the walking boot at the end of the game did not bode well for the immediate future, Normally, high ankle sprains take several weeks to heal. I’m hoping the best for Justin,

Reports: Oregon HC Dan Lanning a 'Top Target' for Alabama HC Vacancy
Alabama is the mountain top. I don’t see how could Lanning say no.

T-Ferg Status!
Although I have a definite appreciation for the culture Lanning is creating at Oregon, I can’t help but believe that the NIL money that these players are getting from Division Street is also a key factor in their decision to return. Word on the street is that it rivals the money paid to most first year players in the NFL.

Isn't This a Nice Change!!??
I’m still mourning the end of the PAC-12, but joining the BIG-10 is paying dividends for OBD on many fronts. As Lanning has said, coaches and players are excited by what they see as the move up to the BIG-10.

Tez Johnson is Returning for 2024
It’s hard not to be excited about next year when you look at how CDL has fortified the quarterback and wide receiver rooms. Getting Johnson back is truly great news.

It Continues For The Beavs
I’m with Annie. In spite of being the recipient of occasional bad behavior on the part of my Beaver friends over the years, I find myself feeling sorry for them. Immediately after spending millions on facility renovations, the PAC-12 disintegrates, they lose Jonathan Smith, and then they lose most of their key players. It’s a chain of events that was unimaginable a year ago. The PAC-12 hit an iceberg and they were trapped in a lower room. I guess, as a native Oregonian, in spite of the fact that I’m irritated by certain Beavers from time to time, I really don’t hate them. If I hate anyone, it’s Kliovkoff and the idiotic decisions made by university presidents that led up to the collapse of the PAC-12. Even if they manage to keep a chunk of their PAC-2 war chest after all of the legal dust settles, they have a tough road ahead of them. I’m interested to see how they manage to climb out of the mess they are in, and I wish them well.
