You will need to be signed up for the Peacock streaming service to watch this game. I signed up today to the basic Peacock service for about $8 per month. You can cancel at any time. There is also a premium service for about $14 per month. I tried to record the game but you cannot record Peacock with just the basic package. Perhaps you can with the Premium service.
Welcome to the new world of college football. You cannot expect any longer to turn on the TV and find the game easily.

Once again Dan Lanning needs to take a look at his play calling. I and probably many of you were calling for a punt from our own 37 yard line with a fourth and one. Why wouldn't you punt? That failure plus an immediate Idaho score shocked all of us. How would you feel if the final score was 24-7?

It seemed to me that this team was especially unprepared for the first game of the season. Could it be the result of the Transfer Portal bringing in so many new faces that have not actually melded together properly yet? I honestly don't know but sure did not expect a 4th quarter nail biter. GO DUCKS!

Just watched the 2012 Rose Bowl on BIG. Oregon vs Wisconsin. What fun to see Derren Thomas, D'Anthony, LaMichael, Kenjon and Tuinei wear down the Badgers. This will be another big game this year IMHO.

Thanks Darren, really a fun read. At least you can count on Walter! As for our DUCKS, I think we will have a fabulous year and find ourselves in the playoff. As to that 8 game stretch without a break, I think we have the depth to make it through this hurdle. I see several guys on out 3rd and 4th string that could be real competitors. GO DUCKS!

A friend of mine at my gym has a son on the Cheer squad at Oregon. This morning she told me about the DUCK showing up at a football conference at Nebraska and how the next stop was Minnesota. This was all done on one students initiative. He lives in Nebraska and checked with his superiors in Eugene and they shipped him the DUCK mascot gear. He got thrown out of course and then said he would head on to Minnesota. This was not branding being executed by the University but by one students idea. GO DUCKS! 30 days to kickoff!

Just to play the Devils Advocate, What happens if the Phil Knight money dries up? Nike has not been doing particularly well lately and Friday before last, the Nike stock dropped 20% in one day. My back of the napkin calculation suggests that Phil Knight may have been down +/- $8 billion on that Friday.

Thanks Smith72. My wife and I were at this game. A truly spectacular performance. We had great seats, surrounded by USC fans and at the end they were wishing us the best and saying "We hope Oregon goes all the way this year". Alas, it was not to be. Walking back to our car, I was yelling Kenjon Barner for President. This was also an election year.

This was a birthday present given to me by my bride. This is especially appropriate for FishDuck as the fish is a Rogue River Steelhead. For perspective, I am 6' 5" tall. Cosmo the wonder poodle wears his Oregon collar 24/7/365. The artist is Patrick Amiot from Sebastopol, California and he is famous for making art from junk.
The plaster of paris model of Puddles was found by a friend at a yard sale and she bought it for me.
I could add more but this will do for today.

This is the year we get Michigan with a new coach and The Ohio State University with a new coach. We beat them both, and go into the national championship game undefeated. And then............ This is the year. GO DUCKS!

I loved his color commentary and discussion about everything beautiful in the State of Oregon. My wife generally does not watch Oregon sports with me but when Bill Walton was the announcer, she sat down and enjoyed the show. You are already missed Bill.

Thanks Ryan, this one is fun. My vote goes to Len Casanova. I am a grey beard and was there for his last year. He started with virtually nothing and created a team with heart. Great coach and high integrity guy.
In more modern times, I vote for Chip Kelly. He created real excitement and the Oregon brand became well known nation wide.
