  1. The video was well done. With that being said, it's time for the Ducks to stop messing around and open that big 'ol can of whoop-axx on these guys.
  2. I think this is a good article from Bill Oram this morning. And yes, props go to all of the Oregon players who could have easily opted out, but didn't. I completely understand why Franklin & Johnson chose to pass, but so many other Ducks could have done same (starting with B&B - Bo & Bucky), and yet here they are this morning... in Glendale, ready to battle it out. I thank them all for being here and look forward to watching them run Liberty right out the door. GO DUCKS! Bill Oram: What is Liberty doing in the Fiesta Bowl? Saving the spirit of college football WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM There are countless examples of college football's system being broken. But Liberty playing — or even getting blown out — in the Fiesta Bowl isn’t one of them.
  3. Although I definitely have my favorites, I've pretty much become an equal opportunity beer consumer these days. I love the creativity of the beer-creation-gawds. I'm a fan of the heavy porters & guiness stuff, to the lightest of brews. I have not yet had the opportunity to enjoy the Ninkasi Cold IPA. But right now, I feel a bit like Pavlov's dog as just the picture has me salivating. Clearly, I need to deal with this craving soon.
  4. Oregon 38-17 2 TOs 2 Sacks 384 passing yards. GO DUCKS!
  5. I'm bi-beer-lemon. Just depends on my mood regarding which way I swing on the lemon. Please don't judge me
  6. 100% spot on. 63-3 about says it all. I was so glad that Kirby Smart spoke up about it after the game. With NIL, transfer portal, and player opt outs, other than playoff games, all other bowl games are pretty much a farce. I think this is underscored by the fact that the most talked about bowl game so far is due to the post-game, cannibalistic, chowing down of a giant Pop Tart. Which also appears to be a bit of a metaphor for the state of CFB right now. Not meaning to sound like Debbie-Downer, but I think it is clear that this is the state of CFB right now.
  7. I'm just so nice that Miami got the coach that they so desperately wanted... and felt like they stole from us. It's also nice that Mario got what he so desperately wanted... to coach Miami. Nice is just so dog-gone nice. 'It's nice to be nice to the nice.'
  8. Ouch. Brutal beat-down on FSU. I'm now quite glad that a playoff spot was not wasted on FSU.
  9. OSU played nearly the entire game a their 3rd string freshman QB. It was a pure crap game.
  10. So many of these bowl games have just been crapola.
  11. Just a brutally ugly game. I give OSU a little bit of a break due to the fact that early in the game they had to bring in a 3rd string freshman QB. But this game has been horrendous. I feel for the longsnappers as their arms have got to be worn out ; -)
  12. These days, for top tier teams, I think it's kind of the playoffs or nothing. I'm a Duck lifer & we now live in the Phoenix Metro area. But to be honest, I'm not at all excited about going to the game --- against Liberty.
  13. I'm still wondering if there will be more than a handful of Duck fans going to the game. I haven't heard anyone from our forum say that they are going.
  14. He started out with his first play call at Oregon with a time out... BEFORE the game had even started. In my entire life, I had never seen that one before Mario. Mighty Rutgers 31 - Mario Miami 24
  15. Allow me to sum up: Hell No! I'm pulling for Michigan to win by 1, scoring the go-ahead points as time runs out, and thereby ripping out their vile, purple, hearts. So, other than that, Merry Christmas, peace on earth, goodwill to men... except the Huskies. Amen.
  16. Heck -- I'm now kind wondering if any other Duck fans besides us will even be going to the Fiesta Bowl. I haven't seen anyone else from forum say that they're going.
  17. That was won of my favorite college football games of ALL TIME. In the words of the poet, "I never said I was noble."
  18. CU reminds me a bit of our 'courageous' little chihuahua when he's at the dog park. He loves chasing and yapping at the big dogs... when they are running away from him. But the moment the big dog turns around, our little tough-guy turns tail and runs like his hair is on fire. But unlike CU, our little dude is actually pretty darn adorable
  19. It doesn't look like Troy has made an announcement publicly either way. Btw, after the initial shock of us getting the shaft of having to play Liberty, there was a lot of talk about us Oregon fans supporting the program. So, I'm still wondering who around here is going to show that support by going to the Fiesta Bowl? Or if are we going to be sitting in a half empty Glendale stadium.
  20. I was about to update my comment and say that I just read some of your latest posts. Thank you for the information and it was very helpful. So, with that question put to rest, who on the board will coming down for the game?
