  1. Gosh... thanks so much for the encouragement. That's just great news.
  2. On the positive side, it looks like I'll be able to get to some of those projects on my list this afternoon. So I guess I should be thankful for that.
  3. Hmmm... I'm not so sure. At the half, Offense put up a whopping 3 points so far. And the defense has given up 28 points. I'd say it's pretty much a tie regarding which one is most horrid.
  4. Pac-12 football reality is a real bummer. But I think Oregon can still win around nine games... so that's a nice consolation price. Alamo Bowl --- here we come!
  5. Bo - Thanks for visiting. You seem like a nice young man. Next QB up, please.
  6. This seems a bit reminiscent of that Oregon-Utah Pac-12 championship game last December. But it’s nice that we were willing to travel 3000 miles, for a one-and-done, to be a tune-up game for Georgia, and do it on national TV.
  7. Should have been his 3rd pick.
  8. Absolutely. But the good news is that we might be "Pac-12 Good."
  9. A blowout was the one thing that I have feared and knew was a distinct possibility. But I did not think it would look this horrid.
  10. After really thinking about it, I would tend to agree with you.
  11. The one single thing we could not allow to happen, was to be completely blown out of this game. All we needed to have a successful game against Georgia, was to be competitive. Nobody in their right mind thought we would win this, but we needed to at least be somewhat competitive.
  12. To SEC teams, when they can lure Pac-12 teams to come out on a one-and-done, it's like when Oregon plays Eastern Washington at home.
  13. How does a 5th year QB lock in on a receiver like that, not see the d-back(s), and throw that pass
  14. Exactly. This one is likely over. Let's get the future in there and give him as much PT as possible.
  15. "Bulldogs will have their backups in momentarily" I'm not sure that Georgia has backups. I think they just have other players.
  16. Apparently, tackling is still optional.
  17. In the words of Darth Vader, "All too easy."
  18. At from an offensive perspective, I think if we settle down a little bit, this could be a good game.
  19. A couple first downs, and no turnovers. A good punt. Now let's see what our defense can do.
  20. But that's what it looks like when you essentially get to play at home... and get a one-and-done.
  21. That's called wisdom on your part. In the interest of full disclosure, while it tasted really good going down, at 8:00 a.m. my stomach was not remotely happy with me. However, if we do pull off the incredible upset, I'll have to keep the tradition alive.
  22. Wow... this is truly beautiful, uplifting, heartbreaking, and full of hope. And I love Lanning's heart here, and the fact that although Mario was gone, Mario was the man to make the call to Spencer's brother... a call that obviously nobody would ever want to make. And let's face it, everyone should be as fortunate to have a big brother like Spencer has. Clearly this is a strong man, with a huge heart, and he and his wife made some major-league sacrifices to love Spencer, take in a very troubled kid, and give him a real home. This is a tremendous reminder that the power of love is still the greatest force in this often insane world.
  23. Anyone who actually thinks anything is "free," needs to check in with Mr. Reality. And, in my humble opinion, anyone who has an issue with these tasteful ads should seriously consider buying a paid subscription to some subpar board and get content and comments that are nowhere near as good as what we find here. That's my $0.02 for the morning, and I'm sticking to it. GO DUCKS!
