  1. Here's my hope (based on no solid information): DL and staff are still talking to Terrance Green and Jericho Johnson and one or both opt out of the portal and return to OBD. I'm hoping that because OBD was in the playoffs until a week ago, they felt like they had to put their name in the portal to keep their options open while getting more information from the staff and others. I'm further hoping that with a little more time to gather information (and understand what NIL $ they may get from OBD as compared to others) and ponder their futures, they confirm that OBD is the best place for them.
  2. I believe he was out of collegiate eligibility and was unable to return to OBD even if he had wanted.
  3. How would one calculate the damages? If Williams goes to another school, the Fuskies will still field a team with a capable QB. Let's assume they go 8-4. Is the argument that they would be 11-1 with Williams? How would one prove that? And how would one determine the value of winning those extra three games.? That would be the difference in a college football playoff selection, but how far would the Fuskies go without Williams compared with Williams? What about donations to the athletic department, merchandise sales, etc. which would likely go down if the Fuskies are not as successful. But how do you tie any reduced revenue to Williams not being the QB? It seems to me that there is a damages calculation problem with any lawsuit (and if the contract has a liquidated damages clause, those or disfavored by courts).
  4. Ducks!!! 24-16 2 Hoosier TOs 3 OBD sacks 273 OBD passing yards
  5. Tech used their timeouts to prevent OBD from running out the clock. In other words, TT kept playing (which I respect) so OBD kept playing as they should.
  6. Ducks!!! 44-24 1 Tech TO 3 Duck Sacks 303 Duck Passing Yds
  7. oregonliveOregon defensive tackle Bear Alexander to return in 2026Oregon will have a key piece back on its interior defensive line in 2026.
  8. Ducks!!! 31-10 1 Fusky TO 4 OBD sacks 277 OBD passing yds Huck the Fuskies!
  9. I was at the game taking verbal abuse from Fusky fans, who suddenly went quiet and wouldn't engage me after the Smith to Johnson TD pass ("the catch). What great memories!
  10. Thanks, Charles! That was entertaining reading! Next time you hop on their site, please let them know I don’t think much of their University of Spoiled Children (aka University of Serious Cheaters). Go Ducks !!!
  11. Ducks!!! 32-21 1 Condom TO 4 sacks by OBD 273 OBD passing yards
  12. Kwame Evans energy and hustle was on a different level last night. Makes a huge difference. Wei Lin made some good decisions with the ball (unlike the prior games) and I expect him to be a contributor down the stretch.
  13. The injury report was just released and Genorris Wilson is out. Alex Harkey is questionable. If Harkey can't go, who is next in line for Right Tackle? Is there some shuffling with Bedford or Rodgers (both primarily guards) entering the lineup? Or do we go with one of the younger players (Fox Crader or Trent Ferguson)? Moore, Bryant Jr, and Laulea are all out. Sadiq, Jackson, Gray and Harkey are all listed as questionable.
  14. Ducks!* 24-20 3 Gopher Turnovers 3 Duck Sacks 232 OBS Passing Yards These are the same statistics as the 1999 Sun Bowl, when OBD defeated the Gophers in a glorious bowl victory.
