  1. Yes. That is why I was surprised when I heard (from what I believe to be reliable source -- one of the Duck podcasts) that Pryor was going to try and get a job in the NBA (but likely end up at Oregon).
  2. And surprisingly (at least to me), I heard Pryor is going to test the NBA waters.
  3. Dan wasn't kidding after the spring game when he stated that OBD wasn't looking at the portal for linebackers but may be portal shopping for a punter!
  4. Sean McVay: ‘I steal plays from (Oregon) and vice versa’ WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Sean McVay had found inspiration for plays from Oregon’s offense. Interesting that the Rams are stealing plays from the Ducks and vice versa (according to Terrence Ferguson).

  5. Portland police chief will no longer officiate Division 1 football games, he says WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM Bob Day last served as a line judge for the Pac-12 in 2023 when he began his role as interim chief for the Police Bureau. This article is about the Portland Chief of Police giving up his side hustle of a college football Line Judge so he can focus on his regular job. He said he made about $4K per game, but that he had to pay all of his expenses (travel, lodging, etc.) That's more than I thought college football officials made. I have maintained for decades, that the college football officiating should be a full time gig and paid accordingly. In my opinion, there is too much money at stake for part-time/side-gig officials. As an aside, I know Bob Day and he is a solid dude.
  6. Yes, they should. It's not easy for us Portlanders to get to Eugene. In the past 11 months, I have attended an event at a winery that featured Coach Lanning (and had a nice conversation with him) and a basketball "show case" at West Linn HS where the men's and women's teams had some competitions (and I was able to have a conversation with Coach Altman). Both events were well attended. I went to the new Portland campus to watch the Oregon Soar (Women's ultimate frisbee) and it would be nice to have more events there. In fact, there is a law school event at the end of May that I plan to attend. Bottom line: I think it would be both beneficial to UO and its' fans to have more events in Portland.
  7. No brainer for me. Though, I was 12 1/2 when the song was released and my mom did not want me to sing the "inappropriate lyrics" around the house.
  8. I'd feel better with the following portal additions: 1) elite/starting caliber linebacker; and a 2) blocking tight end.
  9. Ducks played well down the stretch. Shout out to Brandon Angel who had his best game in a while (14 points) on a night Bittle struggled offensively. Looking forward to watching the Ducks spank Sparty tomorrow!
  10. 3:06 left Ducks 61 - Hoosiers 54 Shelstad at the line for 2 Far from perfect, but better job of getting shots in the paint. Bamba, who is an elite perimeter defender, brought his offense today. 17 points on 6-9 FG. Go Ducks!!!
  11. 10:22 left Ducks 50 - Hoosiers 47 Ducks only have 1 TO left. Settling for too many quick 3s. OBD’s offense is so much better when they get the ball inside and play inside-out. Also, too many turnovers. Need to value each possession. Go Ducks !!!
  12. OL loses the following starters: Conerly (NFL), Strother, Harper, and Cornelius. Projected OL for 2025 is: World (transfer from NV), Bedford, Poncho, Iuli and Harkey (transfer from Tx State), though the Ducks recent pursuit of Pregnon (USC) may alter this projection. DL loses the following starters: Burch and Harmon. Caldwell has a chance to return, but has not stated his intentions. Projected DL For 2025 is: Matayo, Caldwell (if he returns), A'Mauri Washington or Bear Alexander (transfer from USC) and Tuioti.
  13. Ducks!!! 44-24 1 TO by The nuts 4 sacks by the Ducks 337 passing yds
  14. Luna and I have acquired a lot of grey hairs watching the Ducks over the years.
