In the run down Kasevich is tagged out, but alert running puts Hall and Shade at third and second respectively. Josiah Cromwick strikes out swinging for the second out. Ducks half of the 7th; New pitcher for Cal. Anthony Hall on base with a single through the right side of the infield. Colby Shade hitting for Oregon, and Anthony Hall steals second base to put him in scoring position. Shade hit a one hopper back to the pitcher for the first out. Josiah Cromwick hit a ground ball out to shortstop that advances Hall to third base. Gavin Grant is walked as I don't think Cal really wanted to give him a chance to drive in a run. But now they have to pitch to Tanner Smith who is 3 for 4 at the plate today. Grant moves to second base on a wild pitch. And Tanner Smith continues his torrid hitting this afternoon with 2 RBI single into left field. California's second pitcher of the game only last 2/3 of an inning. New pitcher to face Drew Cowley, and Smith catches the Bears battery with a steal of second base. Cowley ends the seventh inning swinging at an 0-2 pitch. Mosiello has been falling behind in his pitch count. A hard hit ball to deep left/center is caught at the top of the fence by Tanner Smith. That would have been a homerun if not caught by Smith!
