  1. How many of us would jump to a better opportunity at another job if there was a transfer portal in our life?

Oh, wait a minute, there is. It's called "free agency".

These athletes have discovered they can jump to a better perceived situation through the transfer portal if they so desire.

Or maybe they can get a better offer from their existing employer?

    You would too?

What people might not know is that Bill suffered from a terrible stutter through most of his life.

It has been my contention for many years that because Bill didn't talk much in his earlier years, due to his stutter, that he has all those words that he didn't use rolling around in his brain and they have and will continue to be used until depleted!

  3. Williams Jr. game winner OSU

Yeah, I know everyone is watching Bama and Georgia in the NC.

Ducks beat OSU in Corvallis in a game that went right down to the final shot. Leading 78-76 and Beavs with the ball and 8 seconds remaining, the barkrats get the ball to Alatishe uncontested at the front of the rim and he chokes a layup.

Game shouldn't have been close as the Oregon men again can't make their free throws making only 8 of 18.

They controlled the glass, out-rebounding OSU 39-29.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CORVALLIS, Ore. Eric Williams hit the go-ahead three pointer with 13.2 seconds left to lift the Ducks over the Beavers in Corvallis.

How it Happened: The rivalry got off to a hot start, with both teams shooting over 50% in the first 10 minutes. The half saw seven ties and seven lead changes, with OSU taking control early. Some key stops and buckets from Eric Williams gave the Ducks a slight advantage. After playing for the last shot in the half, Will Richardson handed the ball off to Jacob Young for a wide open three-pointer that he hit as time expired, giving Oregon a 40-36 lead at the break.

The Battle continued in the second half, with five more ties, but somehow the Ducks managed to never relinquish the lead. Williams Jr. scored nine points in the period to pace the Ducks offensively, while both he and N’Faly Dante finished with double-doubles for Oregon. The game was tied up with 38 seconds to play, after OSU executed a well-designed out of bounds play. The Ducks countered and got Williams an open look with 13 seconds left, and Williams connected for a three-point lead. Oregon intentionally fouled, made a couple free throws and defended well to escape with the victory.

“Eric came to play and that gave us a big lift, he was the difference in the game tonight," said head coach Dana Altman.

Who Stood Out: Jacob Young was the leading scorer after a strong first half, while Dante (12 points, 11 rebounds) and Williams Jr. (14 points, 11 rebounds) each recorded double-doubles.

Up Next: Oregon heads to Los Angeles to face UCLA on Thursday and USC on Saturday.
