Will started the 2nd half, so evidently not too serious with his thumb.

Eric Williams played 11 minutes in the first half. No points but did pull down 7 boards.
Ducks lead at the half 35-28.

The good = Duarte playing on fire! 18 points, hit his first 7 shots(4 from long range)
The bad = Richardson may have hurt his thumb. Got an offensive rebound and tied up by an ASU player. He went out and eventually came back in but struggled.

Only Eric Williams is not cleared(covid protocol) to play against WSU.

On "Talking Ducks" Dana Altman said that Richardson has been cleared to play, but he is leaving it up to Will as to when he sees the court. Could be this week or next two weeks.
My bet is sooner rather than later.

Per the Register Guard "Back at practice was point guard Will Richardson, who has missed the entire season so far after surgery on an injured thumb in early December. The projected starter has been working on his shooting but not yet cleared to play as of Wednesday afternoon."

Found this from Chris Hanson of The Register Guard "The Ducks will be without leading scorer Chris Duarte and starting guard/forward LJ Figueroa, who are both asymptomatic after contracting the coronavirus but still in COVID-19 protocol and isolating from the team."(1/22).
Unfortunately, a subscription to the RG was needed to read the article.

Duarte and Figueroa had both been cleared to practice, so they must have been in a non-transmittable stage or possibly in contact tracing status. Can't play, but can practice..........go figure.

At the end of 3 quarters the score was knotted at 38. Cougars put up 19 shots in the 4th quarter and missed all 8 from conventional distance and only 3 of 11 from deep.

Lady Ducks have a deeper roster and it showed against the Cougs. WSU starters averaged almost 35 minutes on the floor while Oregon starters just over 23 minutes.
Graves played nine of his players double digit minutes.
