Received an email from Coach Wasikowski regarding the upcoming season. Found this to be of interest;
"The Pac 12 Head Coach’s recommendation to the conference office was approved to allow for a traditional 56 game regular season playing schedule with the standard 30 conference games. This was excellent news, especially considering how that discussion played out last fall in the sport of football. We have scheduled 33 home games for the regular season and intend to have that number increased during our post season Omaha run. At this time, fans are not allowed to attend practices or games, but we are optimistic these restrictions will ease in the coming days and we can pack PK park once again!"

Ducks actually played Zona close in quarters 2, 3 & 4 being down just 1 over that time frame. But that 1st quarter was UGLY!
The aggressive defense played by both UCLA and Arizona seems to affect the Lady Ducks.

Extend it to 30 minutes. It isn't locked in stone at that time frame. Adjust +or- from there.

IF..........and it's a big IF, those 5 young women could have played the entire game, mathematically they would have scored 88 points. Of course, as one fatigues their efficiency declines.
The surprising aspect of the game stats is that if you exclude the outlier of game minutes played by Arielle Wilson(3 minutes) that Nyara Sabally and Lydia Giomi had the fewest minutes played.
I think Graves saw the opportunity as the game progressed to give the freshwomen valuable playing time.

The "Fab 5" scored their 41 points in 94 minutes of the game time played. Cal scored all 41 points in the 200 minutes of game played. Nuf said!

I don't subscribe to the altitude of Eugene vs Boulder theory.
Corvallis, Or = 235 feet altitude.
Since 2010/11;
Oregon State record in Boulder = 3 wins vs 5 losses.
Tad Boyle just seems to have Dana's number in Boulder.
In Eugene is another story as the Ducks have won all but one game against the Buffs in that time frame.

After leading by 2 at the half, Colorado pushed the lead to 14 with 16:42 left in the 2nd half. Ducks cut that lead to 5 with 14:19 left. Buffs went up 12 with 8:22 remaining. Oregon cut that lead to 5 with 6:33 to go. Colorado went on a 7-0 run to lead by 13 at the 4:13 point left in the game. Ducks were able to get within 4 points and 1:53 left in the game.
Ultimately it was too many runs by Colorado in the second half that doomed our Ducks!
