2010 Rose Bowl when we played tOSU they also returned a portion of their tickets. I was expecting to see an all Oregon green and yellow stadium. We got our tickets thru the Duck ticket office and of course were in the end zone. We hiked up the stairs and turned around to see maybe two sideline sections and our end zone was Green. All the rest was Red. It seems Ohioans distain the cheap seats and buy sideline seats on the market instead of the athletic allotment. tOSU were all over town, they were friendly and treated us well. They were just happy to be out of the snow.

Great! I'm happy. Our 35th head coach hired in his 35th year. Rich Brooks was also 35. I think Dan will get us to the National Championship in a fraction of what it took Rich to get us the Rose Bowl.
Only "coach speak" that alarmed me was "Process". MC said way too many times "trust the Process". Pretty sure that comes from Saban.

Thanks. I just did the same search. An App called Beerfinder 2000. How cool is that!

Heyzeus Mexican style lager from Melvin Brewing in Alpine, WyomingICamel, we must share DNA. Black Butte and Five Pines Chocolate Porter are two of my favorites. About a year ago we stopped in at Three Creeks and the had just tapped a special barrel of double Chocolate. I like beer you can eat with a fork.
Now you've got me curious about Heyzeus. Does somebody in Eugene stock it?

Man had zero support at CAL. Man is LOYAL to Oregon. Man has competed and defeated Oregon. Bring in another outsider and you will see the same. As soon as the guy gets bona fides he is off to greener pastures.
His record at CAL is not that far off from Mario's 62-60 record. He had zero recruiting support, budget and administrative support at CAL.
He would be far from a Disaster. A disaster is having far better rosters than opponents and losing to them or allowing them to stick around in the 4th Q.
He did not 'grow up in the area,' he balled out for Oregon. As did Sirmon and Musgrave.
I never thought I would get a chance to correct Jon, but Justin and his brother Josh played for the Ducks and Junction City H.S.. Their dad Dave was a Duck and NFL Hall of Famer.

The Championship stage is set up in the Oregon end zone.

Akron Zips ( yes their team is the Zips) paid their last coach $425,000. Morehead makes $900,000 here. Only Morehead can determine if working under work-a-holic Mario is worth 1/2 million.
When I see Morehead's picture with the grey beard (he's 48) and I look in the mirror at my grey beard, I think " Damn I look pretty good". I'm 25 years older. I don't have anywhere near the football knowledge or stress.

It's Senior Day. I counted seven Seniors on the roster, 3 are out with season ending injury and one is playing with a club on his hand. I'm going to sit in the rain and hope for the best against the Beavers. Go Ducks.

While several programs remain in the hunt for a College Football Playoff berth, ESPN’s Football Power Index sees just three legitimate national title contenders.
ESPN’s Football Power Index is giving just three teams a better than 10 percent chance of winning the national championship this season.
Those three teams:
- Georgia, 46.8 percent chance
- Alabama, 22.2 percent chance
- Ohio State, 13.5 percent chance
While fan bases of teams like Cincinnati, Oregon and Michigan State, among others, might want to disagree with this, the majority of the college football world likely sees it as truth.

edit: thanks Charles. I found it. We'll see if I remember after my 2 fingers of whiskey with a float of Skerwball peanutbutter whiskey wears off.
