OREGON FINISHES JANUARY AT NO. 3 STANFORD SUNDAY Sunday's contest will mark the only meeting in the regular season between Oregon and Stanford, while the Cardinal mark UO's sixth top-25 opponent of the season. Stanford has won the last four meetings and lead the all-time series, 59-14. Stanford equals the highest ranked team that the Ducks will face, as Oregon also met then-No. 3 Ohio State at the San Diego Invitational just before Christmas. The Cardinal will be the sixth ranked team Ducks have faced this season, going 1-4 against ranked teams so far this season. Opportunity knocks for Ducks at No. 3 Stanford on Sunday Oregon's best wins to date this season have come over USC, Arkansas and Michigan State. All three currently sit from 31 to 40 in the NET rankings. However, the Ducks (14-6, 5-4) are 0-4 against teams inside the top 30. A win on Sunday over 3rd ranked Stanford would certainly qualify as marquee. The Cardinal are one of the true blue bloods the sport has. Fourth-ranked in the NET rankings, they've lost just twice this year and are on track to win a third straight Pac-12 title. I remember having to sit up in the rafters once. You could literally feel those rafters shaking! During the Kamaikaze Kids days, the place was so loud, it was deafening. We didn't have the Pit Crew back in the day, but for some games, we were crammed together in the student section like sardines. I've never been back to see a game at MKA, so don't know how that compares.

The NCAA is once again attempting to clean up NIL’s impact on the recruiting trail and the Transfer Portal. Since its introduction in July 2021, coaches and athletic department officials have expressed great concern about how NIL impacts the recruiting trail. The new memo obtained by Mit Winter is the latest attempt to change that. In part, the memo states that when available information supports the behaviors leading up to, surrounding and/or related to an NIL agreement or activity contrary to NCAA legislation or the interim NIL policy, then the enforcement staff and Committee on Infractions shall presume a violation occurred. To rebut the presumption of a violation, the institution must clearly demonstrate that all behaviors complied with NCAA legislation and the interim policy. Many of us hold fond memories of Mac Court... The high-school style bleachers are right on top of the playing floor, with no press tables, girders, or trenches separating you from the floor. If you were seated in the first row, your feet were on the same floor on which the game was being played. The architecture of the place was truly something to behold, it really was like a miniature version of the famous Boston Garden. But what made the biggest impact was the way the crowd took over the building. When the fans were celebrating, the arena itself was shaking. In the student section when we’d jump up and down, the bleachers would wobble violently and it has been said the players could feel the floor vibrating. After reading this article, what do you remember fondly about Mac Court? Mac Court Memories WWW.ADDICTEDTOQUACK.COM Oregon’s original house of hoops was truly one of a kind

After visiting Oregon a fast-rising athlete out of Texas has high interest in the Ducks The Oregon Ducks got a chance to host a fast-rising defensive lineman out of the state of Texas for an unofficial visit recently. Oregon made a strong impression on him and is in a good place early on in his recruitment. "What stood out to me most was how genuine and passionate the entire staff was," said Jackson Ford, a defensive lineman out of Melissa, Texas. "They took the time to emphasize how important it was to build relationships and made it a point to get to know me for who I am outside of football." "My interest in the Ducks is very high," said Ford. "They have an amazing program, culture, and coaching staff. The facilities are crazy nice and all, but the culture Coach Lanning has built in the past year is something special.
