This is good news. I don't think it means anything about the QB room except that Moorhead has options and depth.
Very good news. It's going to be a fun spring and summer. Hopefully, there will be unity in the room, with everyone helping everyone.

Thanks Chico! Can´t wait to watch him and his brother play together!

Thank you very much Coach! Great article, and I look forward to the next one.

The new DC obviously helps, playing with KT is another perk.
The fact that KT is only here for one more year is another perk. Learn from one of the best, then take his spot.

Good to see the seniors coming back for one more year. I think they recognize that while they may be on the fringe of NFL ready, another year will give them a better chance. Hopefully they all take advantage of the sure thing: a better education heading into the future. Don't just take basket weaving men, take something that will help your future earning power.

Good to know that he can be comfortable in both... I anticipate that eventually the defense will be so dialed in that they will be able to run both equally well as the need arises.

OUCH!!! Not good!

At this point I'm really excited for the spring game..
The spring game is going to be soooooo interesting this year.
New defensive coordinator and a new defense with the most talent Oregon has ever had.
THEN ... Moorhead gets to install his offense in probably the most comprehensive fashion so far with a full compliment of spring practices. So we might see the full potential of the offense.
Is the spring game here yet?
I'm looking forward to spring. I hope they plan it late because COVID is still very much in play. There will be players missing part of the spring because of protocols. Unfortunately, I do not share your optimism for full compliment of spring practices. I think we will get all the practices in but people will still be missing some.
The good news is that Moorhead isn't starting from scratch. Most of the team will already know quite a bit of the offence, and so much more can be installed than what would have been installed with a full spring last year.
Hopefully the new DC is a good teacher and all our talent can "get it" quickly. Turn the guys loose!!
Equally, we collectively hope that MC turns his Coordinators loose!

Graves played nine of his players double digit minutes.
Heading towards the end of the first quarter the Ducks still had only two points. He had to find someone who could shoot.
Defense and rebounding won this game.

So much for tightening the rotation?
Tightening the rotation doesn't mean "sit 1/3 of the team the whole game". It means "more minutes for fewer people". Sabally was in early foul trouble and she sat a bunch. Parish was in foul trouble also for a while.
After at least three games of a "tightened" rotation would be a better time to assess how tight it has become.

The big questions are all going to be about how to get more money to each school.
Mullens is primarily a money guy... an accountant....
He should handle the money well. Move the offices out of San Francisco!!!!!

I do have to admit that they are doing really well with the transfer portal...former 4-Stars they could never recruit out of high school and many of those brought in the last two years improved them to where the un-thinkable happened in Reser this year.
This is key to their success. They are killing it on getting 4 stars (and a 5???) with 2+ years left to play out of the portal. As wide as the portal is becoming, the Beavers don't have to have more than a 10 member recruiting class. This is obviously a fluid situation over the next couple years until teams and players figure out how to use it.

One of my main takeaways from this hire is it will make recruitting of JTT types easier. He looks big on rushing the passer. That's what guys like Thibs want to do... over and over again. After Thibs has a great year next year, he will be gone. We need to keep a pipeline of good defensive linemen and edge rushers. Having a guy that wants to put a lot of pressure on the QB will do nothing but help in the recruiting of these guys, even if the DC himself is not the best recruiter out there.
It is very possible that one of MC's selling points to TD is that he will learn how to become a better recruiter at Oregon.
