  11. I agree. It’s important to mentor high school talent. The last coaching regime failed to mentor, exude confidence and growth in our QBs. T. Thompson is the prime example of this. They failed him. Dan Lanning and coaching staff did not give up on him. I said this before, I firmly believe coach Stein is what TT needed. Our QB room just got better because of it.
  12. Stock Report: Oregon's secondary shines, defensive line shows major push Similar to Week 1 in a blowout win over the Portland State Vikings, it’s pretty hard to nitpick in a game like we saw on Saturday night against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, with the Oregon Ducks winning 55-10 in dominant fashion. The offense put up numbers, the defense shut things down, and a long list of young players and depth pieces were able to get on the field and see some meaningful minutes. All in all, it was a great day at Autzen Stadium, outside of those frustrating penalties that once again proved to be a problem. Dan Lanning addressed that after the game, but was also very ready to highlight the performances of his players. As we do each week, here is our stock report following the game, highlighting the players who did the most to help or hurt their case going forward: Oregon Football: Ducks’ secondary shines, penalties remain major issue DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Stock Report: Oregon’s secondary shines, defensive line shows major push

  14. The national view of the Oregon Ducks is starting to go up quite a bit. While their win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in Week 2 may not have been as impressive as it could have been, I think most common fans respect that ability to go into a hostile environment and come back to beat a decent squad. The win over Hawaii won’t get you many brownie points in general, but it’s the way that they won — completely dominating all three facets of the game — that was the most impressive. Now, as we enter conference play, the Ducks are in a pretty good spot, finally cracking the top 10 in the Associated Press rankings and rolling with quite a bit of momentum. After each week of the season, we like to look back at the ESPN FPI and see how the projections change based on the previous result. For the Ducks, projections are currently pretty high. The probability that they win the Pac-12, make it to the College Football Playoff, and ultimately play for a national championship game all went up over the weekend. Take a look at the latest FPI predictions following Week 3: ESPN FPI: UO takes jump in CFP probability, now big favorites over CU DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM A lot of movement in ESPN’s FPI this week. Oregon now favored over USC, and hold 8th best chances to make the College Football Playoff.

  19. Social Media Is Positive The Refs Rigged Game For Colorado After Very Questionable Call Screwed Colorado State In OT (VIDEO) Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders would not let his team lose, but it seems like the refs wouldn’t let them lose either. The Buffs trailed Colorado State by 11 points with under eight minutes to play, but Sanders led the team all the way back to force overtime. And in double-overtime, Colorado was able to prevail 43-35 on Sanders’ touchdown pass to Michael Harrison and a subsequent two-point conversion connection with Xavier Weaver. A blindside block by Horton negated a rushing score in overtime and moved the Rams back to the 18. Two plays later, CSU’s QB threw a fourth-down pick to Trevor Woods. A lot of people think that call was incorrect and the Rams got screwed in the end.
