Oh My! Huskies Now Have Only THREE Starters Left From 2023!
Here's What Fisch Has Inherited From Diminished Husky Football Roster The UW has just 64 players on scholarship, 21 under the limit. Newly hired Jedd Fisch, no matter what he says at his introductory news conference on Tuesday morning, is facing a rebuild. By stepping up as the fourth Husky football coach in six revolving-door seasons, Fisch will pay a price for the continuous leadership turnover and prior personnel mistakes made that DeBoer was able to sidestep. In six weeks time, the Huskies have had nearly four dozen players graduate, enter the portal, ask for scholarship releases or de-commit. While two were future recruits, that still pencils out to a near 40 percent roster rollover, which is going to inflict some pain no matter what's done. You simply can't find quality replacements for all of these guys at once, especially this late in a recruiting cycle. With a pair of subpar recruiting classes — and no starters to show for it now — someone will have to pay for it. That will be Fisch initially. Of his 64 inherited players, just 14 have even started a UW game. No Husky position area currently is well stocked, especially quarterback, where in the past week starter Michael Penix Jr. used up his eligibility, back-up Dylan Morris transferred to James Madison, reclassified freshman Austin Mack entered the transfer portal, Mississippi State transfer Will Rogers re-entered the portal, San Diego State transfer Will Haskell re-entered the portal and 2025 Southern California recruit Jackson Kollock de-committed. Fisch better get his rest, make sure his phone numbers are up to date and buckle up. https://www.si.com/college/washington/football/heres-what-fisch-has-inherited-from-diminished-husky-football-roster

2024 BIG Info, Predictions, Etc
Where does Oregon stand when it comes to transfer portal needs? The Oregon Ducks have not utilized the transfer portal as abundantly this year as we’ve seen in prior years, but they’ve arguably been more prolific and proficient with their additions, getting commitments from some of the best available players in the portal. With just 9 incoming transfers so far, Oregon has the No. 4-ranked class in the nation after adding the No. 3, No. 6, No. 18, and No. 53 players in the class with commitments from Evan Stewart, Dante Moore, Ja’Maree Caldwell, and Dillon Gabriel at the top of the list. Going into the offseason, they had a roster that was stacked with blue-chip players, but there were a handful of needs and potential needs, depending on who decided to return to Eugene for 2024 or head into the NFL Draft. Fortunately for Oregon fans, many of those players have decided to come back for one last ride. So with the roster in its current construction, are there any other needs that the Ducks need to fill in the transfer portal this year? Let’s take a look back at our needs coming into the offseason and assess: Oregon Football: Where Ducks stand as far as remaining transfer needs DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM A look at where the Oregon Ducks stand in terms of remaining needs in the transfer portal after adding some top-level talent.

‘If You’re Scared Your Coach is Leaving…’
The best compliment ever after Dan Lanning came out with this video, Sark of Texas and Dabo of Clemson tried to copy him with their on videos. BUT, you can't beat the original! Thank you Dan Lanning! Staying true to who you are! Staying true to your words in your commitment to Oregon!💚

It's Official...HC Jed Fisch to Washington
Here we go again, rumors are circling. Of course his name would be mentioned. With Arizona's financial woes and I'm sure players leaving, not a good place to start as a head coach. Let's hope he doesn't bite IF they come knocking. Oregon OC Will Stein mentioned as candidate for Arizona coaching job While Stein is certainly a strong candidate with his offensive success at Oregon and his strong recruiting ties in the Big 12 base, mainly Texas, it’s fair to say that there are other candidates who will likely be at the top of the list for the Wildcats. We will see over the coming days who Arizona chooses to replace Fisch, but it will likely happen relatively quickly. A Few B1G Buckeye Thoughts
I believe they did spend the time to recruit him. He is pretty fast. Holding the second fastest 100m dash, set at 10.15. Not bad to have in your WR room. Good question, not sure the percentage of LDS kids after their mission enrolls in the school they originally committed to.

Michigan's JJ McCarthy and Blake Corum Off to NFL, Can Harbaugh be Far Behind?
Oregon could be a shoe-in with Gatlin Bair. It was coming down to either Oregon Or Michigan. Gatlin will go on his 2-year mission. He would join the team after his 2 year mission.

A Few B1G Buckeye Thoughts
Yes, which means we would have someone like the like's of Bair in 2 years. Not a bad plan.

Oregon DB Evan Williams Shares Farewell to Duck Nation as He Enters 2024 NFL Draft
Oregon defensive back Evan Williams shared a farewell message to Duck Nation on Sunday. The DB has no more eligibility after using his COVID year in 2023. Williams will now declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. Williams spent his first 4 college seasons with the Fresno State Bulldogs. The defender collected 226 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and 4 interceptions over 39 games with the Bulldogs. The DB spent the 2023 season with the Ducks and racked up 82 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries. The versatile DB should have no problem getting drafted and making his mark at the next level.

A Few B1G Buckeye Thoughts
If Jim Harbaugh leaves Michigan, Oregon's chances of getting Gatlin Bair increased considerably! It seems to be a two team race between Michigan and Oregon.

Oregon Skyrockets up Transfer Portal Rankings After Handful of Elite Additions
The Oregon Ducks have certainly been among one of the most proficient teams in the transfer portal this offseason, which was the case last year and the year before as well. Dan Lanning and his team made an early splash with the additions of Dillon Gabriel, Dante Moore, Kobe Savage, and Jay Harris before the new year, and they’ve kept that momentum rolling into 2024 with the addition of some real blue-chip players this past week. On Monday, the Ducks got a commitment from UTSA CB Kam Alexander, and they followed it up on Thursday by adding Texas A&M WR Evan Stewart, the No. 2 player in the transfer portal. To close the week out, Oregon added Houston DT Ja’Maree Caldwell on Friday night, the No. 17 player in the transfer portal. There’s a chance the Ducks could continue adding top talent as well, with rumors swirling on Saturday that Lanning could be after former Washington Huskies’ CB Jabbar Muhammad as well. All of the additions have Oregon among the top-rated teams in the transfer portal rankings. What’s interesting to note, though, is how high the Ducks are in the rankings despite having nowhere near the number of commits the other teams in the same range do. To help highlight that, we will show the average ranking of transfer commits per team in the rankings. Take a look: Oregon Football: Ducks skyrocket up transfer portal rankings DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM After a trio of blue-chip additions over the past week, the Oregon Ducks have leaped up the 2024 transfer portal rankings.
