Which Guest Picker is Coming to Our City?
Agree. I was at the Penn St. game, though the pageantry was impressive with over 111,000, I still think Autzen was louder. What would be impressive, at the Indiana game is Autzen in yellow with green pom pom's or towels waving in the stands. I noticed at the Penn St. game they had bins of white pom pom’s available for fans to grab for the game.

Tale of the Tape: No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 7 Indiana -- who has the Edge in Eugene?Saturday afternoon in Eugene gifts us No. 3 Oregon vs. No. 7 Indiana, which is easily one of the most intriguing matchups of the season on CBS -- a physical, high-level conference showdown between two teams eyeing a second straight College Football Playoff appearance (3:30 p.m. ET, CBS and Paramount+). Oregon enters with all the recruiting stars and roster depth you'd expect from a playoff contender, while Indiana and Curt Cignetti arrive with a chip on their shoulder and a Heisman-caliber quarterback in Fernando Mendoza. Both teams are built on physicality and execution, which are traits that travel no matter the venue. Let's hit the tape to stack Indiana and Oregon them side by side, position by position, and find out where the real edge lies. Indiana and Oregon meet in a high-stakes College Football Playoff showdown on CBS. We break down the matchup position by position in our Tale of the Tape, from Fernando Mendoza vs. Dante Moore at quarterback to which team has the edge in the trenches.

NCAA Officially Adopts New Transfer Portal Rules, Including Major Adjustment for Players After Coaching Change
The NCAA Division I Administrative Committee approved on Tuesday two significant changes to the transfer portal, shrinking the amount of time granted to athletes to declare their intention to pursue a transfer. Finalizing the modification brought forth last month by the FBS Oversight Committee, the college football transfer portal will have just one window to enter the portal moving forward rather than one in the winter and another in the spring. That window in 2026 will run for two weeks from Jan. 2-16. Because the 12-team College Football Playoff schedule extends deep into January, players participating in a postseason game on or after Jan. 12 will have an opportunity to start the transfer process during a five-day period that begins the day after their final postseason game. The second alteration pertains to the transfer exceptions granted to players after coaching changes. The exception currently allows players to enter the transfer portal during a 30-day window that opens the day after their coach leaves or is fired. The committee approved a new format, however, that is shortened to 15 days and begins five days after a new coach is hired or announced, seemingly in an effort to crack down on midseason portal activity. Both of these changes are expected to be finalized after the committee concludes its meeting on Wednesday. The transfer process will look much different for college football players

Oregon - Indiana Pre-Game Reports, Interviews, Etc.
The Oregon Ducks had an incredibly successful start to the season, and with a bye week giving them a chance to sit back and assess the first five games of the year, they now look to enter the back-half of the schedule and be just as dominant as they were in the first half. That will start with a top-10 showdown against the Indiana Hoosiers this weekend, with ESPN's "College GameDay" coming to Eugene for the matchup. It will feature two very good teams looking to stay undefeated and remain in the lead in the race for a spot in the Big Ten Championship Game. Autzen Stadium will be alive and rocking with students back in town for the start of school, and the Ducks will be ready to showcase what their home-field advantage looks like after getting to witness Happy Valley a couple of weeks ago. What should the Oregon Ducks expect from Indiana Hoosiers offense?

2026 Recruitment, Announcements, Interviews, Etc. (8)
The Oregon Ducks showed some interest in 4-star wide receiver Milan Parris earlier this fall, offering a scholarship to the fast-rising prospect who was previously committed to the Iowa State Cyclones. Parris now appears to be returning that interest, as well. On Tuesday afternoon, Parris announced that he was decommitting from the Cyclones and reopening his recruitment. He is now one of the top uncommitted prospects on the board in the 2026 class, rated by 247Sports as the No. 159 overall player, and No. 21 wide receiver. +He is expected to take a visit to Oregon at some point over the next several weeks and is strongly considering the Ducks. 4-star WR Milan Parris decommits from Iowa State after picking up Oregon Ducks offer

2026 Men's Basketball Recruiting
Where Oregon Ducks Stand As No. 1 Basketball Recruit Tyran Stokes Nears DecisionFive-star small forward recruit Tyran Stokes is the No. 1 prospect from the recruiting class of 2026. Stokes has narrowed down his final schools, but where do the Oregon Ducks stand against the USC Trojans, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, and the Louisville Cardinals? Where Oregon Stands With StokesThe Oregon Ducks are making a strong push for the No. 1 recruit and doing as much as they can to land Stokes. Notable Oregon alumnus and Nike co-founder Phil Knight has stepped in to help the Ducks land Stokes, according to a report from Rivals. As the No. 1 high school basketball player from the class of 2026, Stokes signed a major Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), that could play a role in his recruitment. Stokes signed a multi-year shoe deal with Nike. With the partnership, it could be more likely that Stokes picks a team also associated with Nike, which would knock the Kansas Jayhawks and Louisville Cardinals lower on his list, as they are with Adidas. Oregon, USC, and Kentucky are Nike-sponsored programs, and his NIL deal could give the Ducks an edge.
