Drew Mehringer: "We've got a very talented room."Co-Offensive Coordinator Drew Mehringer meets with the media following practice on August 4, 2025. Chris Hampton: "The competition has been great."Interesting what coach Hampton is saying "I think we've got all the talent to be a really good secondary. Now we've just got to do it.” "We definitely look the part. We're not as experienced. I think everyone knows that." "We've just got to do it, and continue to grow each and every day. We're going in the right direction." "I think we're still going to run our system, at the end of the day. Obviously we have guys who fit the profile of what we want, height, weight and speed. We've done a great job recruiting, I think, everyone in the organization.” What he is saying, the Ducks secondary will look a lot different this season than last year’s, "taller, stronger, faster defensive backs.” Here’s hoping the first four games before the Penn St. game will reap dividends. Co-Defensive Coordinator Chris Hampton meets with the media following practice on August 4, 2025.

The Oregon Ducks lost a majority of their starters along the offensive line from last season. As a result, center Iapani Laloulu has taken the steps to become an outspoken leader in the offensive line roomThe Oregon Ducks had one of the best season in program history last year and a large part of their offensive success can be traced back to the talent along the offensive line. Despite all the success from last year, the Ducks will have to replace a majority of their starters along the offensive trenches including 2025 first round draft pick Josh Conerly Jr. However, the Ducks do have one returning starter in center Iapani Laloulu, who started all 14 games last season and is the most experienced returnee on the Ducks' offense. They are still leaning Oregon’s way for both Davon Benjamin and Deuce Geralds. 5-Star Anthony 'Tank' Jones Commits to Oregon | Weekend Commitment PreviewOregon recruiting continues to catch fire here in the summer, with 2026 5-Star Mobile (Ala.) St. Paul’s Episcopal EDGE Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones committing to Oregon on Thursday. He picked the Ducks over the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas A&M Aggies as Dan Lanning, Tosh Lupoi and Kamran Araghi continue to stack elite talent along the defensive line. Jones’ commitment makes him the second No. 1 prospect in Alabama to pick the Ducks in as many cycles after Oregon landed 5-star+ plus Birmingham (Ala.) Parker cornerback Na’eem Offord in the 2025 class. On this episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuckOn3’s Max Torres is joined by Rivals Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons to break down Jones’ commitment, as he become the fourth 5-star recruit to commit to the Ducks in the 2026 cycle. Oregon Recruiting Intel"This is another class that will keep Oregon in the national title discussion for years to come,"Newberg asked him, "Steve, haters will say Oregon bought this class. But I'm here to provide some balance. Because if you're going to say Oregon bought this class, then how are you going to explain missing on Jackson Cantwell? How do you explain missing on Jared Curtis? Missing on Chris Henry Junior? There's been a lot of guys that Oregon has not gotten. For various reasons, not because of NIL." Fans that say Oregon won recuiting battles soley because they bought players is a “cheap and lazy take." "Certainly there are times where Oregon shows up to a gun fight with a bazooka, because they can. And no one should ever apologize for that." "My point is that there are times where Oregon can flex the biggest muscles from a financial package standpoint, but never is there a time where they're out-recruited." Steve Wiltfong is high on Oregon picking up both Davon Benjamin and Deuce Geralds. If so, Oregon most likely move up into the top 3. Oregon picking up four 5-star recruits in Emanuel Iheanacho, Jett Washington, Kendre Harrison, and Anthony (Tank) Jones. This runs about 8 minutes, but great insight from Steve Wilfong, not only what Oregon could do this weekend, but down the road picking up other players before this recruiting season is over.

Oregon Ducks Announce Tie-Dye Grateful Dead-Themed Game vs. Wisconsin
Every college football season, the Oregon Ducks make waves each and every week by announcing their new uniform combinations and having their fans dress up accordingly. Earlier this offseason, the Ducksannounced their weekly color schedule, telling fans when to wear green, yellow, or black. On Wednesday, they updated that schedule, though. While Duck fans were originally told that the colors for Oregon's game on October 25th against the Wisconsin Badgers were to be determined, they finally learned what colors to wear this week. In reality, fans are now encouraged to wear all of the colors. While the fans are to wear tie-dye for the game, it is not clear yet what the team will be wearing, and if the jerseys will be themed for the occasion. tie-dye Grateful Dead-themed game
