4-star ATH Madden Williams to visit Oregon this summer ahead of commitment

The Oregon Ducks continue to fill up their spring and summer recruiting schedule for the next several months, lining up visits with highly-rated players across the country.

One of those highly-rated players is 2026 athlete Madden Williams, from St. John Bosco in California. Williams is rated as a 4-star ATH per On3, ranked as the No. 18 ATH and No. 234 overall player in the class.

Ranking the most iconic Big Ten football stadiums from worst to first

The Oregon Ducks football team will be playing in a new conference in 2024 and with that, they’ll have to prepare to play in some stadiums they have never set foot in before. Yes, it’s called The Big Ten, but there will be 18 stadiums in the conference when the four former Pac-12 school join.

While the Big Ten will rival the SEC as the most dominant conference in the nation, there should be little argument that they are home to the most iconic and historic college football stadiums in all of the land.

We decided to rank the 18 facilities based on several factors, not just size. We have factored in history, who played there, traditions and other aspects. Of course Autzen Stadium is No. 1 in our hearts, but we tried to be as objective as possible here and not put the Home of the Ducks at the top of the list and Husky Stadium at the bottom. Washington’s home favors quite well in comparison to other Big Ten stadiums, but there’s no way it’s above where it never rains.

Here’s our list 1-18 of the stadiums of the Big Ten.

A federal Title IX lawsuit against the University of Oregon, which implicates the school's relationship with NIL collective Division Street, does not appear to have slowed down the partnership.  At least not in the gym.

While Division Street itself is not subject to the provisions of Title IX, the athlete plaintiffs assert that the university effectively runs the collective and should therefore be responsible for its alleged acts of gender discrimination.

    So, does the shoe fit?

During the football season, podcasts were included with the game for that week. Podcasts still are taking place, just not as often.

I also have noticed that the podcasts now are covering more than just football. For instance, the one following includes some talk about basketball.

Those podcasts will now be posted under this thread as they occur. Also, check older podcasts Right Here as we will keep the thread to no more than 50 podcasts at a time.

Oregon's 2024 national championship odds improve as spring football season rolls on

The landscape of college football looks far different in 2024 than it did even a few years ago, and while things like name, image, and likeness, the transfer portal, and conference realignment have altered the foundation of the sport, the goal for each and every team in the nation remains the same - win a national championship.

After an eventful offseason with elite personnel moves, the Oregon Ducks’ national championship odds improved during spring football.

The current hot topic in the world of sports is the recent rule changes that were passed in the National Football League earlier this week at the NFL owner’s meetings.

It came out earlier this week that the NFL is making two major rule changes starting in 2024: the league is banning the “hip-drop” tackle where a player uses his weight to bring the ball carrier down to the ground by his waste; the NFL is also overhauling the kickoff format, adopting an XFL variation that will completely change the look of things going forward.

Kickers will continue to kick from the 35-yard line, but the other 10 players must line up at the opponent’s 40-yard line. At least nine members of the return team will line up in the “setup zone” between their own 30- and 35-yard lines, and up to two returners will line up in the “landing zone” between the goal line and 20-yard line.

Here’s a diagram to help you visualize the NFL’s new kickoff play:

How long will it be until college football falls in line with the NFL in terms of kickoff formats and hip-drop tackles?

The Oregon Ducks hold a unique place in the world of college football, standing as the most popular school in the nation when it comes to uniforms. Across the nation, Ducks are known for their flashy uniforms that change each and every week of the season, and the partnership with NIKE that keeps them at the cutting edge of innovation every season.

Over the past few years, Duck fans have been wondering when a new template of uniforms was going to come, with the current template having been in use for several years now.

On Thursday morning, the Oregon football team announced that a new set of uniforms, tabbed ‘Generation O’ will be coming this season.

Oregon Football can absolutely get 5-star WR Dakorien Moore. What's needed?

On the heels of a decommitment from 2025 4-star WR Adrian Wilson, Oregon may be ratcheting up its efforts to flip 5-star WR Dakorien Moore from LSU. What will it take to get that done?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Locked On recruiting insider Brian Smith. He gives his thoughts on the recruiting efforts of WR Coach Junior Adams, as well as Oregon's pursuit of 5-star defensive back DJ Pickett in the 2025 class. 10:45

Oregon Men's Basketball enters an offseason in which they are assured to lose N'Faly Dante and Jermaine Cousinard to eligibility. Others like SG/SF Bam Tracey are undecided at this time, but would be welcomed back to the team as they move into the Big 10. 20:25

Three Big Ten Stadiums Named Most 'Intimidating' For 2024

The Big Ten already has a reputation for having some of the hardest places to play in college football for visiting teams, and that reputation is only going to get stronger with the addition of several teams from the Pac-12 in 2024.

One college football writer set out to rank the most "intimidating" stadiums in the country for the 2024 season, and he included three from the Big Ten.

Oregon received its first decommitment in teh 2025 class when 4-star WR Adrian Wilson re-opened his recruitment. This COULD mean big things are coming for the Ducks on the recruiting trail.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin talks about bringing in QB Dillon Gabriel from Oklahoma. Does his left handedness impact the way Oregon plays offensively? 11:15

Dana Altman put together one of his best ever coaching jobs en route to a Pac-12 Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament win. Could this late season surge serve as a springboard for the program going forward? 22:10
