Because of no respect for our conference; eight SEC teams host and only ONE West Coast team hosts? The State of Oregon did well, but we all got hosed. UC Irvine went 8-1 versus the Pac-12 and was left out? EVERYBODY on the show admitted that the major metric used...the RPI, is highly flawed and needs to be changed as NCAA Basketball did with the new NET rankings. Nonrevenue sports and on occasion, basketball is how Vandy justifies its presence in the SEC. That and lofty SAT scores which is not often the case in the SEC. However, Florida, A+M along with Vandy and a few others are AAU members, 5 in total I believe going to 6 when Texas arrives. Georgia has very sound economics.
