October 30, 20231 yr Moderator Great post, thank you. And in the B1G, Michigan has rescinded its new contract offer to Jim Harbaugh. How will this affect Wolverines recruiting? It can't help.
October 30, 20231 yr Author Administrator “You get the right pieces and you can do anything, especially if you have the good coaches behind it,” Rushing said. “You’re getting the right people — they’re doing that and we’re doing that — it’s going to end up going to the right place." "Coach Lanning is a players’ coach. You could see it with everyone in the locker room and how the guys carry themselves. You see it when you’re (in Eugene). It’s a brotherhood.” Mr. FishDuck
October 30, 20231 yr Stanford ahead of USC? This Michigan thing is going to effect them. With the transfer portal in place it kind of negates some of this. It's great to sign great classes, but Clemson is showing what not utilizing the portal can do to your depth.

Your Gators are killing it as well! Mr. FishDuck
October 31, 20231 yr The difference between 6th and 1st is razor thin. The talent in any top 10 class is legit and with the right coaching and development can become elite. It's when you stack top 10's that championships are within your grasp. Ducks are on the cusp of back to back top 10's
October 31, 20231 yr Author Administrator Well, the margin is bigger than you may think. We have 18 of the 4/5-Stars, and Georgia has 19...and if it were that, then yes--it is razor thin. But the Bulldogs have three 5-Star players besides! Mr. FishDuck

He said he would cultivate relationships with high school coaches in the state. He's done that. It just sucks getting pounded on the field by Georgia again. But he said it would take three years to build the talent up. I said it would take a win over somebody we weren't supposed to beat to show progress. Tennessee was that win. Beating FSU would be a much greater catapult though. Fingers crossed.
