EastBayDuckDad Moderator No. 1 Share Posted December 2, 2023 So in all of our doom and gloom, here's a ray of sunshine. The Ducks appear to have emerging studs in Evans and Shelstad with solid play from Rigsby and Oquendo. Shelstad drains the winning trey ala PP the last time they beat Michigan. This could be a solid crew when they get N'faly back.
Graziani93 No. 2 Share Posted December 3, 2023 (edited) Agreed, today's overtime win over Michigan took some sting away from the football loss. Not only Dante back - don't forget Bittle and Mookie Cook. It could turn out to be a special year if this group gets a chance to all play together. I like Jackson's poise and skills, even as a freshman. As the announcers were saying, the moment does not seem too big for him already. spartan2785 No. 3 Share Posted December 3, 2023 Couldn't watch the game, just looking at the box score did Evans actually have a good game, didn't look like he impacted the game much. Looks like Rigsby and Shelsted had great game, good to see! I think we have a good team, just need to get the bigs back and hopefully Cook provides some length on the wing. Haywarduck Moderator No. 5 Share Posted December 3, 2023 We have our PG of the future which, like a new qb, is critical. Shelstad is the real deal, and hopefully his story is full of even more highlights on the big stage. Rigsby also looks like the grinder type of player programs need. Should be an interesting, exciting season as it unfolds and the chemistry of this team is complete.
