A Tasty Torrent of Good News is Coming...

Recommended Posts

First we see some tasty tidbits from Matt Prehm at 247 Sports,...

"Most know how I don't like to stick my neck out there and say a commit is coming before I 100% know it's coming. We've taken a very, very conservative approach to covering recruiting and making predictions. I was told this weekend things have progressed as well as expected for not just one but multiple prospects Oregon is targeting in the transfer portal and also the high school ranks."

"Very rarely do I get excited these days about recruiting weekends or big wins on the football field. This weekend is shaping up like one of those rare weekends where things could be pretty darn fun."

And then I see this below...

I will definitely be happy to get Atticus Sappington, if only for his name.  Puddles and he should be great friends.

Doubtful, or no.

But we have a real good shot at the former Kansas State safety, Kobe Savage, listed in the first post above.

From his Instagram, safety Corey Ellington is currently on a visit to Oregon as well. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder started in seven games last season for Mississippi State. He recorded 66 tackles last season for the Bulldogs.

When do we expect to have any decisions regarding transfer portal additions? What is your feeling on who we will be able to sign? 🦆

Over the next two weeks, and I  have no idea.  We are taking our swings at some good ones, and common sense tells me “we’ll get our share, “ but I would just be guessing.

A pretty good start with Gabriel, and that momentum has to help.

We needed a quarterback, a receiver, a safety, and at least one defensive tackle, and in the end, I think we will get one of each. I just don’t know who yet…

Thank you Charles. I have been trying follow this closely looking anywhere I can to see what is happening.

I agree the move to grab DG is big and should help with big TP players and potential HS recruits making decisions of where to go.

All of the Oregon Duck reports are so quiet compared to other schools and outlets. Guess I was thinking there would be more insights into how the trips from inside sources.

I love this forum and feel it is the best place for Duck football news and commentary by far.
Thank you sir 🫡
