The Oregon Ducks have offered a scholarship to one of the top defensive linemen in the 2025 recruiting class. Head coach Dan Lanning and the Oregon staff offered 4-star defensive lineman Kevin Wynn out of the state of Georgia and Greene County High School.

The 6-foot-2, 320-pound defensive lineman is rated as the No. 128 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, the No. 13 defensive lineman in the country, and the No. 22 player in the state of Georgia. All rankings are by 247Sports.

As a junior this past fall, Wynn posted 70 total tackles, 30 tackles for loss, and two sacks.

He also recorded two passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery while also blocking a field goal. As a sophomore, Wynn was the Georgia Region 8 Single A Division 2 Defensive Player of the Year.

Oregon extends offer to rising 3-star defensive lineman

Dan Lanning and company continue to mine the 2025 high school defensive line prospects this offseason, and the Ducks have extended another scholarship offer to a rising prospect up front.

Oregon offered 2023 defensive line talent Stephon Shivers out of Humbolt High School in Tennessee this week. Shivers announced the offer through his social media channels.

Shivers was one of the early standouts at the Adidas Underclassmen All-American Combine earlier this month down in Texas.

The 6-foot-5, 355-pound prospect made an impression with his size and agility, earning himself honorable mention honors among the top defensive line prospects at the camp.

247Sports ranks Shivers as a 3-star prospect and the 92nd-best defensive lineman in the country. He also ranks as the No. 40 player in Tennessee for the 2025 class.

The 247Sports Composite ranks Shivers as the 685th best prospect overall in the 2025 class, the No. 54 best defensive lineman, and the 25th best prospect in Tennessee...

THE LATEST: Oregon and 5-Star Safety Faheem Delane

January has been a busy recruiting month for the Oregon Ducks and they're set to host Olney (Md.) Our Lady Good Counsel safety Faheem Delane for a visit on January 26. He's the No. 1 ranked safety in the 2025 class (per 247SportsComposite) and spoke with Ducks Digest about the latest in his recruitment.

"Coach Lanning, he used to coach at Georgia so he knows what good football looks like," he said. "This past season they really were one game away from being in the playoff beating Washington and Washington was a national championship contender. So that really shows you how close they are."

The head man in Eugene is what stands out most to Delane, particularly his commitment to the Ducks and love for the program.

"I would say the head coach, of course. Coach Lanning. You know, it was a big thing everybody said he was going to 'Bama, everybody said this.

He posted that big thing that he was he was staying at Oregon. That just shows you how much he loves Oregon and it's his future there." He has strong ties with the Ducks at both the coach and player level. "I talk to Coach (Chris) Hampton the safeties coach. He calls me a lot.

I talked to Coach Lanning on FaceTime a few days ago. Just excited for my visit up there.

Bear Tenney Previews Oregon Visit

Oregon is set to host its first of two junior days this weekend and one of their most intriguing visitors will be 2025 Lehi (Ut.) tight end Bear Tenney. The 6-foot-5, 230-pounder holds 37 reported scholarship offers and previewed the trip with Ducks Digest.

What's drawing him back out to Eugene for another trip?

"I really just like their offensive scheme. Just the way they use their tight ends," Tenney said. "I've been a fan of them since I was like seven years old, so it'd be a dream for me to play for my dream school. I've got a really good relationship with Coach Dan Lanning and Drew Mehringer. I talk to them a lot, so I've got really high interest in them and it's just close to home."

This weekend's visit could be a pivotal one for Tenney, who spoke about his timeline for a decision.

"I would say if it feels right. Even if it feels right when I visit Oregon this weekend."

Not only does Tenney like how Oregon uses its tight ends, but Dan Lanning's message that he's not going anywhere resonates with the Utah prospect...

Ducks pick up prediction to land No. 4 TE in 2025 class

The Oregon Ducks coaching staff has been out on the recruiting trail over the past couple of weeks making stops to see highly-rated prospects across the country. While that was happening, though, they got a prediction to land one of the top players at his position in the 2025 class.

On Wednesday, On3’s Chad Simmons logged a projection for 4-star tight end DaSaahn Brame to end up with the Ducks. Brame is rated by 247Sports as the No. 95 player in the 2025 class, and the No. 4 tight end available.

Standing at 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, Brame is a massive body at the TE position, and he would offer elite upside as a pass-catcher.

The Oregon Ducks have been getting after it on the recruiting trail this past week, with their coaches flying all across the country and getting some face time with highly-rated prospects that they are after in the class of 2025.

That will change this weekend, though, as some of those prospects take a trip to Eugene to check out the Oregon campus and visit the Ducks for their Junior Day this weekend.

The list of visitors expected in Eugene is headlined by 5-star safety Faheem Delane, the No. 1 safety in the 2025 class. Here are the other players who Ducks Wire has confirmed will be in Eugene for the weekend:

Dan Lanning Visits No. 1 Recruit in Washington on Heels of De-Commitment

Timing can play a big role in recruiting, and Oregon is looking to capitalize on recent coaching moves that have come as a result of Nick Saban's retirement.

Head coach Dan Lanning has been traveling all over the country this month, but he made it a priority to make a stop in the Pacific Northwest to see 2025 Spanaway (Wash.) Bethel linebacker Zaydrius Rainey-Sale, who hosted the head coach on Wednedsay

With him back on the market, the Ducks should be viewed as serious contenders in his recruitment. Aside from the in-state Huskies, Oregon has distance on their side and they've made a habit of stealing the top talent from Washington.

Oregon has become a top destination for elite defensive talent on the West Coast under Lanning, and that's a trend that will almost surely continue.

"If you want to play defense out West, you come to Oregon. It's pretty simple," Williams said after making his commitment July.

The Ducks have yet to land their first defensive player in the 2025 class, but you can bet that Rainey-Sale is going to be a big name on their board moving forward and they'll work to get him on campus for a visit in Eugene.

Jordon Davison Raves About Return Visit to Oregon

The Ducks' top running back target in the 2025 class was back in Eugene and gives the latest.

2025 Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei running back Jordon Davison has long been a priority for Oregon and coach Carlos Locklyn.  He's got just about every offer in the country and has been to Oregon numerous times.

So why did he want to get back this weekend?

"It's a special place  They're going in the right direction," he told Ducks Digest following his most recent trip to Eugene.  "The development that Coach Lock has had with the players in his room and the ones that's leaving is unbelievable.  Coach Lannng, he's very consistent, down to earth.  He always spends time around me and my family.  I feel like it's truly genuine."

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound ballcarrier gave some highlights from the trip.

"Just being around it in general.  Being around some of the players.  Interacting with Coach Lock and sitting down talking with Coach (Dan) Lanning."

Report: 5-star offensive tackle locks in visit with Oregon Ducks

The Oregon Ducks are working to build up their 2025 recruiting class after back-to-back cycles in the top 10, and it looks like they’re starting strong as well.

On Wednesday, it was reported by On3’s Chad Simmons that the Ducks will be hosting one of the best offensive linemen in the nation on a visit this spring, with 5-star OT Michael Fasusi coming to town in April during the spring season.

Fasusi, who is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 15 overall player and No. 2 OT in the 2025 class, is expected in Eugene on April 17-18, which is a week before Oregon’s annual spring game.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 285 pounds, Fasusi has a classic OT build that allows him to be mobile on the edge and physical in pass protection.

Pair of 5-star players schedule visits to Eugene for this spring

The Oregon Ducks are staying busy on the recruiting trail this spring and early in the summer months. While they already have a number of recruiting visits on the books, scheduled out into June, they are adding a couple more blue-chip prospects to the schedule as well.

Earlier this week, it was reported that 5-star safety DJ Pickett was making his return visit to Eugene in June on the 21st, which will be an official visit. Ducks Wire first reported back at the end of January that Pickett was coming to campus for Oregon’s Junior Day, which took place shortly before the dead period began.

Pickett is rated by 247Sports as the No. 7 overall player in the 2025 class.

The Ducks will also be hosting 5-star linebacker Jonah Williams, coming up this next month on March 17th. Williams has been high on the Ducks in his recruitment, and this will be a return trip for the defender who is rated by 247Sports as the No. 14 overall player in the class, and the No. 2 linebacker.

The Oregon Ducks are set to host a pair of five-star players in the 2025 class over the next few months.
