Graziani93 No. 2 Share Posted April 23 This is great news! Angel always seemed to hurt us when we played the Furd and now we got him. Should help greatly with the size we need as well as outside shooting. Now, let's get some more studs.
Dave23 No. 3 Share Posted April 23 The Ducks greatest need has been filled. Last year this was the body type we were really missing. That Dillon Brooks kinda guy who is dangerous from anywhere and can handle the ball if needed.

EastBayDuckDad Moderator No. 6 Share Posted April 23 Whispers in the Woods: Oregon hosted secret visitor this past weekend 247SPORTS.COM An update on all things Oregon basketball recruiting. The second big time 'Furd player, Andrej Stojakovic is still in the portal and may want to reunite with Angel. That would be two good wing additions if DA could pull it off. The really interesting tidbit from the above article is that N'faly may be petitioning for a final year of eligibility based on the Covid year and his injuries the following year. He is already NBA ready, but another year at Oregon to develop a mid range shot would make him a first rounder. We can all hope. A line up of Shelstad, Evans, Angel, Bittle and Dante, with Cook, Tracey, Barthelemy and maybe Stojakovic in the rotation (and no injuries) is the stuff of Sweet Sixteen dreams. 2 1 1
Graziani93 No. 7 Share Posted April 24 I'm telling you, if Dana goes and gets Chris Manon (formerly of Cornell, still available in the portal), we are in business! Manon is a 6-5 combo guard, great ball-handler, and most of all a positive leader. Together with Angel, we'll be stacked as far as basketball IQ and outside shooting. Keeping my fingers crossed! Never mind. Looks like Manon committed to Vanderbilt just yesterday. But there's still other quality players around. Let's see what happends.
