April 28, 20241 yr Moderator Though not the only reason, look at how much the Lions have improved with Penei at OT. That extra 500 milliseconds of protection means a yard per play in the ground game, more completions and fewer INTs. That's why tackles go in the first round. Alt and Slater will make great bookends for the LAC O-Line and finally get JH some meaningful protection.
