Always great to see Dan Lanning and the Ducks getting some national attention:

No.

The more I am exposed to Dan Lanning and his persona, the more I feel his hiring was an extremely wonderful stroke of timing and luck.

We are fortunate to have him.

I could not agree more.

I was skeptical at first given Dan Lanning is a defensive specialist. I didn't want to see Oregon's reputation for offensive firepower lost.

But, it looks like Dan Lanning is a FOOTBALL specialist, offense and defense.

Dan Lanning loves messing with O-Line coach's head with his blitzes.  We saw much more of them last year, and he knows that with a high scoring offense--it puts pressure on the opposing offense to score and keep up.  Thus he can dial up the blitzes and create turnovers the way Nick Aliotti did when Chip would get a big lead.

Thus he sees the need for an explosive offense.  My belief is that he wants to match what Georgia does on defense, but have a slightly better offense.  I could live with that!

Great interview, as Colin does it well, and Dan really makes you comfortable.
