EA Sports College Football 25 Ranks Oregon Ducks Offense Among Top in Nation

Recommended Posts

The Ducks are tied with the Georgia Bulldogs for the top spot in the nation, with a 94 overall rating.  Led by Dillon Gabriel with players like Evan Stewart, Tez Johnson, Jordan James, and Terrance Ferguson around him, it feels like a given that Oregon is going to be explosive once again.

Sorry, all credibility lost with Miami tied with the third best number with an 89.

Cam Ward maybe ok, but he'll probably have to call 90% audibles and turn off his helmet audio of "white noise Mari".

You remember "white noise", it's what a lot of us use to get to sleep.  Of course, it does wake up Ds.

Can’t wait for this game!

I think EA Sports is clearly trying to have a diversity of highly rated teams in order to have broad appeal. Hmmm, any future lessons/foreshadowing to be learned from that?

Have the EA gurus behind the stats and predictions been identified? Are they AI?

I'm not sure fans are more excited for the start of the season or the release of this game. Will one of you Gamesters let me know what the game costs?

Thank you. I'm returning to my game of Chutes and Ladders.

Well Mr. Board Game, you of course need a compatible system (PS5, XBox, etc.) The game itself is $70 for the standard edition, $100 for deluxe.

Kirk Herbstreet is heavily involved with the game, not sure exactly how the ratings are done, but they seem pretty good overall outside of a few teams not in the big 2 conferences being inflated.

A very interesting Top 25. I'd love to know who is looking at the EA data and who or what is pulling it together.

A+M 14 and Ole Miss 15? Clemson 6? CU 16? 18 Wisconsin and 19 USC will meet in LA.

3 Oregon plays 2 Ohio State in Autzen and 11 Michigan and 18 Wisconsin on the road; in November.

Georgia tops the game's overall team rankings, while defending champion Michigan comes in at No. 11.

Someone else is confused.

If this game is truly meant to reflect the real world then we shouldn't have such egregious ranking issues upon this game's release

Apparently line play doesn't matter.

If that were the case then these scores could make sense.

The boys aren't happy in Troy.

REIGNOFTROY.COM

EA Sports has released their top 25 teams in the new College Football 25 video game. We are a bit surprised at where the USC Trojans landed in the rankings.

"We have decided to buy new coaches instead of better players. What could go wrong?"

Also... How is USC'S defense rated ahead of their offense????

Even with a defensive scheme overhaul they still lack line play.

Oh wait... Line play doesn't factor.
