I myself don’t learn their name until it’s on the roster after spring portal…either way this goes, this is still just a verbal and people are acting like it’s the end. While it is not a guarantee, those of us who have followed recruiting over the last 20+ years know that verbals come through about 95% of the time. It is common we lose a verbal or two, and then turn a committed verbal or two elsewhere our direction. One reason this could be a biggie, is because it solidifies our position as a place where 5-Stars go...especially since we are finalists for a few others like no other year. Mr. FishDuck

Solid points, and I can see how it would help marketing growth and momentum…but I personally still won’t know his name until June 2025. I just find it fascinating to watch this evolve in the context of the portal era.
