Does the Scrap-2(?) have the wrong commissioner?

Being out-played by the MWC?!

Is it too late to merge with the power MWC?

One thing I’m wondering about is BSU regret. They had a special deal with the MWC that provided them a greater share of the revenue. Might they actually end up making less with the Scrap? I have to think they jumped because they envisioned the Scrap getting Memphis and the others they whiffed on.

Yes, they do have the wrong commissioner, but they have the commissioner they deserve.

On that note, Teresa was hired by Larry Scott in 2018. Would you want someone hired by Larry Scott to head things up in a tough environment?

This is all like watching a spider swirl around a toilet as history repeats itself and the Scrap overvalues it's asking price. Many Scrap fans, likely including the newest members, are under the impression they'll be signing a TV deal in the $12-$15M per school range, which would be the best of all G6's. Barring some significant additions from the AAC, it sounds like they're actually looking at $7-$8M.

Prepare for more disappointment piggies.

The Pig-2 did land Gonzaga for basketball as 8th school.  So that's a win of sorts, I guess...

Probably not... These are the better G6 teams out there in one conference which should result in a bit better end of season prospects for multiple teams. So the payouts of make a CFP, major bowl games, or thr mens basketball tournament should be more frequent and that money coming from multiple sources.

So BSU will probably make more as others will help pull more of their weight more.

But I don't think it would be a major jump but it will probably be smoother more reliable income for them. As a down year won't hurt them as bad.

Media deal will also probably be slightly higher.
