Provided big ratings for NBC Sports, as it drew the largest primetime audience for a regular season Big Ten conference football game since 2008.

NBC Sports revealed the rating for the Ducks’ victory over the Buckeyes on Monday, relaying that the Big Ten clash averaged 10.2 million viewers across NBC, Peacock, and NBC Sports Digital, peaking at 13.4 million viewers in the game’s final minutes.

(Keep in mind the qualifier - in Prime Time in regular season in the B1G.  For example, last season's Michigan - Ohio State was near 19 million but not in Prime Time.)

So far, in 2024:
11.99M - 7:30 - ABC - Georgia at Alabama - prime time in SEC
10.2 - 7:30 - NBC - Ohio St at Oregon - prime time in B1G
9.19 - Noon - Fox - Texas at Michigan - not prime time
8.62 - 7:30 - ABC - USC vs LSU - prime time, non-conference
7.92 - 7:30 - ABC - Notre Dame at Tex A&M - prime time, non-conference

Just the beginning of a wonderful symbiotic relationship between the B1G and Our Beloved Ducks.

We will bring them our eyeballs and more, and they will bring fans to Autzen,

and higher ratings for the conference with our games now being included in the league.

Highest for Big Ten prime time game since 2008 Penn State win at Ohio State (10.4M, 8:00 pm, ABC) - wasn't a great night for Terrelle Pryor....lost 6-13.

2024:  Portland was third highest local market rating for Oregon-Ohio State with 12.4 rating/48 share.  Columbus dwarfed all with a 27.0/64.

Biggest audiences in order were Columbus, Cleveland, Portland, Cincinnati and Detroit

Honestly surprised it's that high on that channel, I would believe it if it was on something like FS1 or ESPN2, but on the CW that's a great number!

I believe the Detroit audience was probably Michigan fans rooting for us.

But... but... but just think of all the bonus points we could have earned with all the subscriptions we could have generated for Apple TV.
