Thats a very reasonable Top 10 from "i just took a klatt".....

Looking forward to the first CFP rankings. We will know very quickly how heavily favored 2 loss SEC teams will be valued.

GO DUCKS.......

Greg McElroy Names Top 25 College Football Program That is ‘Notoriously Underrated’

"Illinois, they're sitting in a pretty good spot right now," McElroy said. "They got the one loss. That loss was to Penn State. I think they're notoriously underrated. They kind of always seemingly are when they've been good."

Not to be picky, but that should be, "They have the one loss" Didn't they teach that at Alabama?

I think this is a reasonable Top 10 at the moment.

I’m surprisingly looking forward to some of the games this weekend.  Some of the matchups are much more interesting than I was expecting.  Most notably I’m really looking forward to Notre Dame at Navy.  I’d love to see Navy take it to the Irish!

Also, of coarse the Ducks game.  LSU vs aTm, Mizzou vs Bama, Texas vs Vanderbilt, and several others could be interesting games.  I’d like to include Nebraska vs tOSU, but I think that’s just wishful thinking.

Go, Navy! Their playbook is run it to the right side, run it to the left side, run it up the middle, but they're undefeated so far,

JFOK won't give up. Last week he was sure that the hangover from beating Ohio State, the travel, the short week, would all be too much for OBD to cover the spread @ Purdue.

Joel Klatt Picks Against No. 1 Ranked Team in Top-25 Clash in Week 9

"21.5 points is just too much," Klatt continued. "It's just too much. Illinois is tested, this is their fifth game against a ranked opponent in their last seven."

So while there is a chance that Illinois may keep this close, there also seems to be a real possibility that Oregon, who has been playing great football as of late, can blow this one wide open.

Klatt addressed that, noting that when he's picked Duck games this year, his track record hasn't been so great in 2024.

"We are 29-14, so we do know what we are doing here against the spread," Klatt said about his game picks this season. "However, did you know Duck fans that I am 0-4 when picking Oregon games this year? So, you're welcome Oregon fans. I'm going to take the points for Illinois. I think Oregon gets the win, but Illinois covers. That's a good omen for the Ducks. I think this game is somewhere around Oregon 34, Illinois 17."
