A season full of "Firsts" for Our Beloved Ducks!

The Oregon Ducks remain at No. 1 in the most recent AP Poll after beating Michigan 38-17 on Saturday.

Maybe that extra touchdown at the end for style points helped?

Oregon was No. 1 in the Coaches Poll also, but not ALL the first-place votes!

I didn't have any problem with it. You know, against Martland next week, the Ducks take a knee. But this was Michigan. They don't want Oregon to get a late touchdown. Stop them.

DId Kirby vote for his own team?

It certainly appears to be possible...

AP voters are public weekly.  Coaches poll voters are public for the weekly ranking after the final ranking only.

Outside of end of year polls, Oregon is the first unanimous #1 team in the AP weekly since Georgia on November 28, 2021. They were 12-0 and the only undefeated P5 team remaining at that time.

This week, Georgia, Ohio St and Miami all have some No. 2 votes.

Miami is playing with fire, when will it get burnt?

Don't let the 22-point win fool you, No. 5 Miami was in deep trouble at one point against Duke. That's the fourth time in its last five games that it has trailed or been on the verge of an upset. That kind of play is not sustainable for a prospective conference champion at this stage in the season.

Apparently the media storm (drizzle) against Wilner paid off. First week he has put us at #1.
