idontrollonshobbas No. 6 Share Posted November 8 I have had dogs my entire life which means I have faced these tough decision multiple times. The first few were the hardest and I waited too long. Though no easier, the later decisions were made with the dog's comfort in the forefront of the timing. The last time I had a vet tech in an emergency clinic tell me that the hardest decision was the best for my dog. I will never forget what she told me: "We don't owe our pets eternal life, simply the best possible life every day they are with us."
