30Duck No. 1 Share Posted November 5, 2021 Jon Wilner weighs in on the issue. Washington coach Jimmy Lake's comments about Oregon's academic 'prowess' wasn't smart and can't be defended.
Steven A Moderator No. 2 Share Posted November 5, 2021 Best part of the article, Wilner simulates Schill in stating "But for the moment, the arch-rivals are headed in different directions, and you don’t need a UW degree to see that." 3
Haywarduck Moderator No. 3 Share Posted November 5, 2021 A pay site, I didn't get past Lakes achieved something nobody thought possible, blowing a 4th quarter lead against Montana at home, enough for me to say it is a good article.
Jon Joseph Moderator No. 4 Share Posted November 5, 2021 Spot on by Jon Wilner! Although why the need to dump on good old BP Community College? I think that Lake initially went the CC route and played for the BPCC Fighting Bumpkins? More from Wilner. UW's 4 wins have come against teams with a combined record of 7-25. Wilner also picks the Ducks to cover the now -7 in Seattle. And I love the shade Schill dropped on Lake by referring to former coach Chris Peterson as having been an excellent coach.
