So far Illinois is matching SC's physicality. Give the SEC another loss!

I get that it’s a bowl game, but Beamer should have kicked the FG and then used his timeouts and two minute warning to get the ball back.

I have to admit I don't get how Beilima was taunting according to the announcers. Not sure what I missed

Herbstreit is looking more like a pud every day.

Illinois wins! Playoffs next year.

Herbstreit is really crying in his beer now. This game was a lot closer than it looked, tons of holding calls not called not to mention the horrible fumble call at the beginning of the game.

SEC is 0-4 against the B1G! I'm sure there's plenty of excuses why that is.

2 of those wins against those teams that should have been in the playoffs

I have to admit...I'm stunned.  I purposely did NOT want to watch that game because I thought Illinois was a "weak" 9-3 and after what South Carolina had done this season....I thought Illinois was going to get blown out.

Goes to show two things:

--I am only right half the time, and better count my blessings that it is that high.

--The SEC is much more over-rated this year than anyone thought.

Could this be an omen for Dilly?
