Former Florida State and Alabama wide receiver Malik Benson, who has an extra year thanks to the recent NCAA ruling on junior college players, told ESPN that he has committed to play at Oregon next year.

His stats are underwhelming, but apparently our coaches feel they had QB problems at FSU, and he will do better here...

Watching his highlight videos, he seems like he’ll be a good possession (slot?) receiver. Benson makes tough contested catches but doesn’t seem to be super elusive or have breakaway speed (of course I could be wrong).

Should be a good compliment to Evan Stewart.

Agreed.  An experienced WR for 3rd and long?

Next year at WR between these two, Gary Bryant Jr., and all the young guns coming in should be a nice blend.

I’m really interested to see if Dakorien Moore can make a splash next year, as a true freshman, which isn’t typical but he looks like a special player and a physical specimen.
