The Ducks have not lost on the road or neutral court this season.

On the pregame show the B1G Network analyst said, "Bamba has been really inconsistent". The problem, as we discussed in the other thread is that Bamba's shooting hasn't been IN-consistent, it's been consistently bad for the last 8 games or so. The analyst said he wants Bamba to, "be more aggressive" Having Bamba near the top in attempted shots doesn't seem like the best strategy to me.

I don’t know much about the basketball Ducks but I can tell you Value City Arena (yes, that’s the name) is not a difficult place to play in for visiting teams.  The (lack of) noise you hear on TV is an accurate representation of what it’s like there.

Have to start hitting shots, it has to happen at some point, too many bunnies and open threes where we just hit iron.

Ohio State is up 32-27 at half.

Women won at Penn State...63-61!

9-31 shooting, 29% for the Ducks in the 1st half, 2 shot clock violations. If they can manage to shoot, maybe, 36% in the second half, they win.

The defense seems good in this game, especially the three pointers. The shooting has imported in the second half and they got it down to two but Ohio State is getting everything in but Biddle has hit some threes. I really like their effort, it may not pay off in this game but if they keep it.they will steal some.

Maaannnn we just can't make it easy, we're always having to come back, luckily we play really well during crunch time.  All win on the road are great wins, move on to Penn St. take the defensive performance as progress, and try to get some other guys going on offense.

What an ending. How many teams have a 7 foot center who shoots threes and free throws not to mention all the other things he does. He had several big plays in this game. I loved the block he did where he blocked and bounced it off the opponent. If the ducks play like they did in this game the sky's the limit. Good effort by all and the defense was stellar.

Ducks shot 15-26 in the 2nd half, 58%, got it into Bittle, and the defense, as usual, picked up. Great, crazy win!

Neither, unfortunately, is MKA.

Yeah, not many have his skill set, it's the way that he can also dominate on the block that makes him really unique, you see plenty of stretch 4-5s but not many who can be equally effective inside and out.  He's also a very good rebounder, developed into a good interior defender, just a great player who I think is more a fit for Europe than the NBA, he will have to become a 40%+ 3 point shooter to make it in the league, I think since he isn't versatile enough to defend NBA wings.

Yeah, they pretty much destroyed the allure of going to games when the made the horrible, horrible decision to present the game like it's an NBA game in the arena. They lost a ton of fans who would go to games over the last 15 years, plus the prices are way too high.

Love our locals. Bittle and Shelstad, Any other kids around the state we could be looking for the next year or two?

I wish Mookie Cook, from Portland, could break into the rotation. I haven't got to see him enough to know how he plays. I hope he doesn't transfer out.

Good gosh....every time I checked they seemed to be down by seven or eight points and pull it out?  Whew!

You know Ducks, come from behind wins are great. But, try playing the way you do in the 2nd half, in the 1st half. The game at Penn State would be a great one to try that.
