Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted January 25 Max Torres is a well respected writer for On3, and was with Sports Illustrated before that. He reports..."For what it's worth, Matthew Bedford is with the team during offseason workouts. Maybe an encouraging sign of him returning next year, though I haven't seen anything officially announced." Without playing last year--his chances in the NFL Draft are low, and if he could not play next year due to medical reasons...why would he working out with the team? What other conclusion can we draw, other than he'll be back? This would boost the offensive line like...WOW. kirklandduck Moderator No. 3 Share Posted January 25 I don't see how he wouldn't. He needs to show NFL scouts that not only can he play consistently at a high level but also stay healthy through a season. Being labeled injury-prone will kill his draft stock. David Marsh No. 5 Share Posted Sunday at 12:24 AM If true... Next year may have some very nice depth at offensive line that we haven't seen in awhile. This could mean some more fun heavy set offensive line packages and more rested linemen if the chemistry is right. This year the offensive line was nothing sort of a miracle. Started off the year with two key players out in Iuli and Bedford. Never got Bedford back and we got Iuli back right when Harper went down. If not for that luck I think Oregon would have been sunk... But very shallow offensive line last year and I think it showed. Hoping next year brings depth. 1

David, over the years writing for FishDuck--you become more and more of an analyst--in addition to being a superb Op-Ed writer. GREAT observations... 1 Mr. FishDuck
