The Oregon men's basketball team continues to try and fill outs its roster with talented prospects ahead of the 2025-26 season. As players who are in the NBA Draft start to pull out and decide to return to college, more options in the transfer portal become available. One of those players who recently withdrew from the draft and will now look to play his final year of college basketball at a new school is tied to the Oregon Ducks. DuckTerritory.com can confirm that there is mutual interest between Oregon and Florida State star guard Jamir Watkins. The 6-foot-7 prospect declared for the NBA Draft this spring but has recently withdrew his name, and the Ducks are in the early stages of recruiting Watkins. The 6-foot-7 guard from Trenton, NJ averages 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this past season over 32 starts. Watkins shot 42.7 percent from the field, 32.1 percent on 3-points.
