Charles Fischer Administrator No. 1 Share Posted Sunday at 08:48 PM Game summary at the bottom of the thread! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1-0 Oregon, after two innings. Will Sanford has a nice start going for the Ducks on the hill, and I have to admit that the Columbia pitcher is the best we have seen thus far. 1 Mr. FishDuck
Charles Fischer Author Administrator No. 2 Share Posted Sunday at 10:01 PM 1-0 Ducks, still, after six innings. The Columbia pitcher has been superb, but so has Oregon freshman pitcher Will Sanford holding the Lions scoreless for six. Can Oregon’s reliever Santiago Garcia keep it going in the seventh? Jon Joseph Moderator No. 5 Share Posted Monday at 02:10 AM I see a three-game series, after a game vs Utah Tech begins on March 7, vs. USC in Irvine. I note that SC's home field is under renovation. With SC 9-1, this looks like the first top opponent. Is SC OBD's biggest competition in the B1G?

USC is 9-2 and have beaten a good UC Irvine team, and No. 14 Vanderbilt, but UCLA is 9-3 with a win over the Trojans and is also a candidate. I figured USC would end up being ranked, so this is a big series for us. (Ducks are 10-2) Gotta have some hot bats... 1 Mr. FishDuck

sports fan No. 8 Share Posted Monday at 05:49 PM The latest college baseball rankings (D 1) are out. The Ducks are # 10 this week and they are the only B1G Ten team in the top 25. Playing USC this week-end, they will have a target on their backs. Hope the guys are prepared for their first away series this season. As noted above, USC'S home field, Dedeaux Field, is still under renovation. The ballpark seats 2,500 fans. Playing at Great Park Stadium, the seating capacity is 1,200. All USC home games are free of charge this season.
Nevada Dawg No. 9 Share Posted 13 hours ago Wow those poor Columbia Lions. And now the poor devils draw a 3-game series this week against the #6 ( I believe) Georgia Bulldawgs in Athens. By the way, in that 35-1 pasting by the Ducks, why was there no Run Rule? Has that been done away with?
