Annie No. 1 Share Posted 23 hours ago (I'll understand if this thread is deleted.) So, I had to clear my caches and cookies to solve an email problem. But in doing so I couldn't get into many sites, including this one. I'm obviously on this on now, but I have to login anew most times. The problem is Facebook will not let me back on there. I try to get a new password, but each time they send me code number to set up a new password, and every time I try to use it and they say the code number is wrong. So I've kind of given up. I really want to get on to my Facebook page and not have to set up a new one. Any suggestions? Thanks.
30Duck Moderator No. 2 Share Posted 19 hours ago I'm not on Facebook, but this situation is very similar to what I've experienced with other Password situations. The first thing I did was look for an actual phone number, though often one doesn't exist, that connects me with the site. If there is no phone number, on the Sign Up page, you might get started toward getting back in by hitting "Forgot Password"
Drake Moderator No. 3 Share Posted 18 hours ago Facebook only allows a few tries to reset password per day. Then you have to wait 24 hours. If you have another device with a different operating system, you can try logging in from it.

No phone number, no chat, no nothing except a suggestion to do a search for the problem! And that leads to people who use FB trying (usually without success) to figure out how to solve it. Annie Author No. 6 Share Posted 15 hours ago On Twitter (AKA X), which I can access, though I now have to log in every time (as I now have to do here too), after each time I visit I get an email that there was a post from another device. All I can figure is that it is a newer computer, not the one on which I originally signed up for twitter. While I have cell phone, I don't use it to access these sites, because I prefer the bigger screen and larger keyboard of my desktop computer.
Signoramous No. 7 Share Posted 15 hours ago Annie, If you've ever entered Facebook through Chrome, then your password might be saved there. Go in to Systems, then Password Manager and then scroll to find Facebook. If it's there, voila, you will find your password. Perhaps other browsers have a similar feature. Good luck

Good luck I don't remember ever using Chrome, but I'll give it a try.
