April 7Apr 7 Honestly surprised, felt like with Evans being a former 5 star, not being a starter most of the time, he would have gone to a place where he would be featured more. I'm happy to have him back, I like him as a player. He has a lot to work on though, his jumper, his ball handling, his playmaking. I think he's a good rebounder for his size, but he needs to become more skilled and stronger, hard thing to do.

I do too, and I think that his game will improve with more consistent minutes, stronger can be worked on during the offseason, skill can be refined, sharpened.

April 7Apr 7 Evans is an essential piece of the puzzle. Playing next to Bittle again, improving his game, he can rack up a bunch of double-doubles. And his familiarity with Altman's system will be of great value on the court and in building team chemistry. I'm very happy.
April 7Apr 7 This is great news! Up until his decision, I thought it would be 50-50 that he would return. With forwards Supreme Cook and Brandon Angel graduating and Mookie Cook transferring only forwards Dezdrick Lindsay (injured last season) and Oleksandr Kobzystyi only playing in two games with a total of eight minutes return. I would be surprised if Evans isn't in the starting lineup next season. A look at next years players. Shelstad guard Phillips guard Frakes guard Lindsay forward Kobzystyi forward Evans forward Pryor forward Bittle center ???
April 7Apr 7 Moderator About the portal. Many of, if not most of the portal studs, have been picked. But there is no poaching going on, right? 🤪
April 8Apr 8 I new I like this guy! Staying for his 3 year will be great for his development and after his 4th year he could be NBA ready. He has the size and quickness just needs to keep working on his Basketball IQ and polish up his skills and he could be dangerous. Reminds me of Wooten but with better advice.

I am a bit concerned that we don't seem to get some of the highly rated transfers, definitely going to need at least a guard and another center. Hoping Lindsay and Kobzystyi are going to be impact players and the reason why Cook and Tracey are leaving.
April 8Apr 8 Lindsay looks the part for sure. A 6’6” wing that shoots 41% from three and over 50% from the floor. Also shoots 70%+ from the line. He looks like that slasher / playmaker we have been missing at the SF spot. Not sure about Kobzystyi. The two times he was on the court, he didn’t look ready yet. Hopefully that changes. Weird that we have had almost no portal action.
April 8Apr 8 Be nice if Oregon could add the Mbiya kid from the French U21A League... Would possibly help development of all the bigs.
