Babyjesus615 No. 1 Share Posted Friday at 04:13 PM (edited) Our office took bets yesterday on whether Shedeur Sanders would fall out of the top ten and I was the only person to bet that he would. Not gonna lie though, I figured when he was still on the board at 21 Pittsburgh would snag him up. Instead, they went and got themselves a wrecking ball in Derrick Harmon and should be much better off! Harmon is the exact opposite of what you expect to find in Shadeur. He is the ultimate team player. He is a guy that doesn't care about being the center of attention; he just cares about getting the ball back to his offense to win games. He is a violent, collision loving bad dude in the best way. I am glad that Tomlin and Co. took a few minutes to do what's truly best for their team. Maybe Shedeur is still on the board when they pick today. Maybe he was humbled enough to see that there is still much more work to be done. He is talented, he is athletic, and he was also exposed by the Ducks and various other teams the past two seasons. If he can eat enough crow between last night and OTAs, there is a chance he can develop into something the league wants leading a team. If not, maybe he and DJ Uiagalelei can join forces in the UFL. Desert Duck No. 2 Share Posted Saturday at 12:11 AM (edited) Wow... we're onto the 13th pick in the second round and Sanders is still riding the pine. Tyler Shough got picked up as the 8th pick in the 2nd round. Glad for this kid. He has not had an easy road from a Chandler HS kid down here, to the NFL. Definitely not a quitter. But regarding Sanders, the guy has skills. But perhaps NFL teams really aren't excited about the 2-fer-1 deal that Sanders packs with him... Shadeur + Dad. Desert Duck No. 3 Share Posted Saturday at 07:47 PM (edited) Congrats to the Browns and Sanders. I think Shadeur has the potential to develop into a reasonable Cleveland backup QB. Edited Saturday at 07:51 PM by Desert Duck
