Most likely get more playing time. 

Once he's developed, he can always transfer back (nil) to his real "home".

 

Glad he stayed in-state. Easier for mom & dad to watch.

    Oregon State can be a feeder program for the Ducks. I'm cool with that. 

     

    I'm not saying Stars are everything, but Oregon is really recruiting at the absolute top end of things right now. Wheaton the younger just isn't on that list. And frankly I'm not sure Wheaton the elder would have made the cut for this staff. But without Wheaton the elder we wouldn't have this staff today.

    IIRC, KW1 was a 2 star... He grew and developed under Brooks and company.
