I'm sure the situation isn't nearly as bad as the media is making it out to be. After all, they are essentially saying the same thing about Dante Moore. We will all know just in a couple weeks when practices get rolling though!

He may get to play early in Chapel Hill, but he’s going to one of the dullest atmospheres I have ever experienced. Their stadium empties out at halftime no matter the score or the opponent. Even when they had good teams with Howell and Maye at QB their crowd sucked. You could actually hear the opposing QB calling his audibles as if he was only a few feet away.

I’m sure the price was right, but flipping from OSU to UNC only makes sense on the hardwood. The football team will always be little brother on that campus.

Too early to worry. Sayin, Moore, Manning and others have yet to play much ball. Players gotta play. Some of these media outlets use false hope or fear as click bait. Sayin finished the spring with a strong scrimmage game.

All three of them have some talented WR’s to throw to. None of them are going into bad situations offensively. Sure, Moore has a new OL and he loses Stewart for the season, but DL didn’t leave him with a bare cupboard.

I remember thinking Bo was a bust because he wasn’t really all that good at Auburn. Then he got to Oregon with Troy, Ferguson and Tez and became a first round draft pick. Being talented is one thing, but QB’s need to have good talent on the other end of their throws.

Pardon me if I don't shed a year for their QB room filled with two five stars, and a high upside four star. There were concerns heading into 2021 surrounding CJ Stroud replacing Justin Fields.

It's similar to people asking if Oregon in a slump two weeks ago because they lost a couple recruiting battles to BYU and Georgia. Hyperbolic statements like "Is Lanning losing his touch?" have about as much credibility as those old tabloid magazines in grocery store checkout lanes that said a sitting President was in love with a space alien.

The QB is not the concern I have for tOSU. Kelly was the most important coach last season, he's gone; the 2nd most important was Knowles, he's gone. The two most important coaches at tOSU now are Hartline and Matt Patricia, the new DC. Day's still there.

Valid concerns, but Day is a great play caller and QB developer when he gets out of his own way. The 2023 Peach Bowl vs Georgia showed me that.
