It is not what this old-fart wants, but the world is changing and Dana is adjusting better than I am.

That's how it goes for the big time programs now, which Oregon aspires to be. At Kentucky and Duke you love the 5 stars while they're there, then you love the next batch.

Same as My experience getting to bed a supermodel. Really enjoyed it. Knew it wasn’t a long term deal.

Dior is a great get for Altman and the program.  He appears to possess the type of talent that can help a team of shooters and bigs get good looks at the basket on a regular basis.  That said, the difference between high school and college athleticism on defense is significant.

It can take time for a young man to develop into an NBA player, and there are no guarantees that one year will be enough to get prepared to play against the best in the world.

And there are sometimes bumps on the road to getting ready for the NBA.  N’Faly is a great example.

Getting NBA caliber talent to come to Oregon is a major win, and may put Altman in position for a run at a second National championship for the Ducks.

One thing for sure. If a 5 star doesn’t want to play defense then don’t come to Dana’s program. This kid has the perfect body type to play D. Can’t wait to see this kid in a Duck uniform with all the other studs coming in, should be fun.

p.s. Get ride of pack 12 network so everyone can see them play.

In Dana we trust. He's getting pretty good at this with shooters, defenders, you name it this guy knows the game of Basketball and I hope he gets Oregon to the Final 4 this year and after watching Oregon demolish in their 2nd game of the season a tournament SMU team that is said to be no less than 3rd in their conference and this of coarse has Memphis also. Oregon looked like a 15th game team as they looked pretty good together. I'm impressed with all the bigs and thats W/O Dante whos suppost to be back next month.
