The time zone difference isn't going to play a factor this game. Both teams will have plenty of time to acclimatize and both have played in the east coast time zone, Oregon has done it more.

The bigger question is does TT suffer the round one bye slump?

I feel like this is the factor that's getting the most overlooked, considering the fate of the First-Round BYE teams last year.

True they all lost. However, the seeding was much different and two of the bye teams were underdogs, ASU & Boise St, who should have been the 11th and 12th seeds.

It definitely didn't help us, but neither did the coaching.

6:55 pm ET update: Ducks are on the ground in Miami. Greeted by the Bowl Committee, buses loaded, head to hotel.

6:10 with wheels down, taxi time on the tarmac, greeting, and load the buses.

Having a solid week to acclimate to the environment and time zone difference will be huge for OBD.

Last I checked the game is Thursday, January 1, two days and a wake up.

Doh. Well a couple days isn't bad. Better than flying in the day before.

I'm most curious about Indiana, the team that barely practices to see how they start.
