Indiana does not have even one five star recruit.

This Wall Street Journal article is unlocked. It appears to be behind a paywall but it is not.

Great article. Reminds me a little bit of Moneyball, except now, Indiana also has the money... but they didn't when Cignetti arrived.

"In 15 years as a head coach, he has never once signed a five-star recruit." That's just incredible.

I'm expecting Our Beloved Ducks to win tonight. "I hate losing, I hate it. I hate losing more than I even wanna win." - Billy Beane, Moneyball

But if the absolutely unacceptable happened and I had to lose to somebody, I'm afraid to say that my only acceptable choice would be Indiana. It's just too good of a story. 10-1 Michael Lewis is already writing Moneyball - Part II (or Hoosiers Part II).

But damn... after 52 years of loving our Ducks, I want this game so bad that I'm semi-afraid to watch the game tonight.

Mark Cuban continues to throw money at the Indiana Hoosiers

Notably, Indiana is already one of the biggest winners in this transfer portal cycle. The Hoosiers might have Cuban to thank for that.

From 'duck feet' to 'production over potential:' Curt Cig...

The Hoosiers' roster is filled with different kinds of players, but all had to meet Cignetti's standards.

To me Cignetti is the Kyle Whittingham of the B1G (of course that changes next season). Like Whittingham, Cig is a tough competitor and coach. His teams are disciplined, well-coached and seem to be pretty solid as human beings.

I always liked Whittingham in the PAC 12 and rooted for Utah when not playing the Ducks. I’ll probably do the same for Indiana, but highly unlikely to do that for Michigan
