Monday at 07:53 PM1 day Moderator No. Respected college analyst Joel Klatt released his list of the top ten coaches in college football today, and Oregon’s leading man made the cut at No. 4.There is no doubt that the Ducks have one of the best coaches in the nation, and fans should be even more encouraged by the fact that Lanning is only behind ones who’ve won a national championship. Klatt gave his reasoning for the prestigious placement on the list and optimism for the future, citing Oregon’s steady improvement year over year among others.

Monday at 10:31 PM1 day No. So much better than the Brooks Years, where it seemed like many seasons started looking really promising before being derailed a couple games in by one or two injuries, like Bill Musgrave, Brandon Jumper, JJ Birden, and Herman O'Berry. Never having the depth OBD have now.

I feel terrible when we are done for the season. It takes me about a week I have found , to recognize the fact that even though we did not get as far as I wanted, the past 2 seasons have been 2 of the best and most enjoyable I have ever watched.I am looking forward to what is next with great anticipation.

8 hours ago8 hr No. I recall the season my brother and I shared great joy when Oregon made it to the Poulon Weed Eater Bowl and pulled out a last minute win over Tulsa. We felt as though the holiday season had a special magic. Even though the two playoff losses were painful in the moment, I can be nothing but grateful for the rise in talent, performance, entertainment, and wins over our hated rivals that Dan Lanning has brought to Eugene. These are the best of times for this Duck fan!

It took 6 long years after the infamous “83 toilet bowl game” to finally muster enough wins to qualify for that bowl game. It put an end to the 26 year drought of sitting at home with no invites. They went 2-9 twice when I was at U of O. But, the rodents were one of the wins both times. Not the greatest year when that is what you hang your hat on for the highlight of your season. Two sports that must be watched live when you have the time, college football rivalry games, and baseball. The TV just doesn’t do either game justice.
