Charles Fischer Administrator No. 2 Share Posted November 30, 2021 Awkward! I do feel for the players though, who made their selection of college based on who was coaching them. How will our quarterbacks feel if/when Moorhead leaves? 1 Mr. FishDuck

It definitely puts them in an awkward situation if he does leave. It also makes it exponentially more difficult for the new starting QB next season....having to face Georgia with only 1-2 games under your belt while learning a new offensive scheme and meshing with a new playcaller? That kind of timing is terrible... Edited December 1, 2021 by kirklandduck

latracey No. 5 Share Posted December 1, 2021 It truly must be tough when the coach who recruited you takes off for a better offer. Sadly, that is the nature of the college game, as well as society, these days. The whole notion of loyalty takes a back seat to the mighty dollar. Riley, though he denies it, made the move to USC because he thinks it will be easier to win there than it will be with Oklahoma in the SEC.

A bigger payday and an easier ride to the CFP. No brainer.
